Class liked my game design idea <3
I'm in a game design/gameplay class at the moment, and our assignment is basically pitching an idea and then writing the entire game design doc (kill me nowwww)
The whole class had a lot of positive feedback and good ideas to help me out ^_^ The teacher is one of my favorites too, so despite it being a morning class, im having a good time.

Loooooooove game concepting <3333 storywriting, CONCEPT ART, hi poly models....sooooo fun <333

omg, iv done the same sort of thing, its so fun! I find that classes that are specific like this one almost always have like minded people in them. and when you are in a fun class with like minded, open people, most people wont care if it starts at 5 in the morning, they (at least i lol) would rather go than sleep. its the best feeling to be in a group of people who know and respect what each other are doing.

I may just become a regular to this thread, happy people spread happiness, making more people happy. couple cups of coffee just helps the process

I should be more happy about my major...but the workload is insane. Like, I have 3 modeling heavy classes this quarter...and modeling is NOT my strongsuit by far. (plus, 5 core classes wasn't my best idea.......and deciding to help a last quarter class with their group project > __ <)

But, at the end of the day, I'm doing what I love to do. So I guess that's all that matters. I just don't have a social life outside kids in my major or my roommates anymore rofllll

GMaster, sooo true. I got in a class of some really chill people. Lots of great ideas and lots of great feedback. It's really hit and miss a lot of the time: people either are here because they love to MAKE games OR are here because they love to PLAY games. If you are the latter, than this major is not a good one. And sadly, there are a bunch of people who spend the time they are supposed to be working playing games.

Won 2 sets, lost 2 sets, had a indescribable amount of fun today at a regional tourny. Me and 2 others went, played, trolled, joked and got to meet other nearby players that we can actually practice against. Its kinda hard to get good with 2 opponents, so im overjoyed we were able to go and meet everyone.

going back tomorrow, gonna watch top 4 fights, gonna plug in P:M, gonna have more fun!

Pittsburgh Zombiefest was today! Some smash friends from Cleveland came to visit and joined my roommates and I on the adventure. I was a zombie hunter, Beegs was a medic, Bead was a human (?), my roommate was a zombie OSU player, and our other 2 roommates were Zombie Vriska and normal Karkat from homestuck

Lots of fun, lots of laughs, and a great day!
PLUS, not a lot of homework this week c: YAY!

I think I'm starting to get my faith in life back again. A lot of bad things have turned out good for me, and where I was formerly the most pessimistic I've ever been. I think I'm starting to believe that things will be ok again.

My friend returned the favor and helped me with a phys problem when I helped him with one before. It was just in time too before we had to turn in the homework. I also got to move my favorite chair up into my room, happy.

I finally moved and I am going to a better school. Now, I can cleary see which career I want to take part of. I feel confident about this career choice (Which is being a Politician)

Im also finally learning Turkish and Spanish MUCH better now from help.

I know the feeling, once you get into something you love doing, everything seems to brighten up a lot. This can be anything from learning to even talking about your passion. I know I have out-talked the most talkative person I know when the topic came to programming (my passion lol)

Get into it, have fun, meet others with the same interests. It all adds up to a fun life, even if you gotta get up at 5am

Thanks. Its strange though, I was NEVER into politics I was more into science, but when I started attending, I was starting get more interested in Politics. Strange isnt it?

I'm feeling good lately. I go to swim practice every morning and every night and I'm definitely seeing the results. My stroke has improved vastly from when I first started, in addition to my kick.

I have a great group of friends at school. I'm doing alright in my classes. I'm just really having a good time. I might ask for a job at the local YMCA as an assistant swim instructor. There are many that are more qualified I'm sure, but YOLO. I'll try anyway.

The only real issues I'm having right now are chapped lips and a bit of difficulty lifting.

Life is good.

Valve presentation at Carnegie Mellon tomorrow
Going with a group of upperclassmen game design and animation friends from AiP. Teacher is even letting me miss class without penalties! Tomorrow is gonna rock

Plus.....finished all my hi poly models for animation
Just have to normal map them to the lo poly models and texture the lo polys and I'm done x3

I took swimming when I was younger. I was terrified of the high dive but I did it every time.

I eventually graduated to the advanced level, but I was then put back in the beginner level.

I'm not much of a swimmer

Despite the fact the guy is a programmer, he discussed a lot of gameplay stuff and my fellow Ai students and I could actually understand stuff
....minus a few math/programmer jokes.

I must have skipped something because there were 3 questions I didn't know. But those 3 questions aren't going to stop me from doing well on everything else.

I finally bought a new[er] car today which is an 05 scion tc, which makes me really happy since I was stuck with a 96 camry for like 4 years. It's extremely fun to drive and is something other than white which is my least favorite car color. Something I am also happy about is that I got pulled over on the way home due to not having a temporary license-plate yet, and he didn't give me a ticket and I didn't go to jail ;-;
