Since it's against the law to not be wearing a seat belt in the states of Indiana and Ohio, if I get pulled over and ticketed for you guys not having a seat belt on since I'm allowing you all to cram in the back, I will expect EVERYONE in the car to chip in to pay for said ticket. If anyone has a problem with that then Kel will have to find another ride. Otherwise just be aware of the possibility.

This is the only fair way I can think of to deal with this since I'll be taking enough **** from my parents + points on my license if it happens.

If anyone has an issue with this they should talk to me about it immediately.

Only minors have to wear their seatbelt in the back, iirc, and Day's the youngest, isn't she? She's 18, so you shouldn't get a ticket for the back if you're still in Ohio.

It used to be seatbelts were only secondary offenses but now they can pull you over for it. I was under the impression that whoever wasn't wearing the seatbelt was the one that got the ticket. I dunno though. It'd still be pretty lame for the one person to get a ticket while the others watched.

Okay according to the site jokey so kindly linked, I can get ticketed in Indiana for anyone not having a seat belt on but the max fine for the first offense is only $25.

So split 6 ways that won't be a big deal to cover in case it happens. If Day can't cover it because of her dad I'm sure people will spot her the few dollars.
