5:45 AM; it's pitch-black, and I rustle out of my bed hearing the obnoxiously loud squealing of brakes.

I open my blinds, still half asleep, and peer out the window. I see the garbage truck across the street next to my neighbor's house just about to pick up their trash can. Apparently, he must have been going pretty fast down the road since I usually don't get waken up by that. Aggh.

It's pretty much impossible for me to go back to sleep after I woke up, so I get out of bed and make myself a quick meal of scrambled eggs + other goodies for breakfast, brush my teeth, shower, and get dressed.

So after all that, I didn't have classes until 11am today. So basically I was stuck in the house doing pretty much nothing except browse all the sites I visit, play a few videogames, and then leave like 4 hours later. It was dark and foggy all morning long until about 10am when the sun peeked out, yet it still was cool and misty.

Kinda random, but that's how my day started. Stupid garbage truck slamming on his brakes as hard as possible to take away a few more hours of sleep...

I hate it when **** like that wakes me up in the middle of the night. It completely throws off my sleeping patterns for a few days. I also have the same problem as you because there's like nothing for me to do around that time. X.X

That is pretty stupid. Be happy, because my garbage truck runs around at 3:00 in the morning. ^_^

i think i would've appreciated that myself... i usually try my best to wake up as early as possible (or at least around the time you said). it gives me time to do other things or get my day started and make it longer. i love long days unless they're work filled with something boring.



but i have no self control so basically i always end up falling back asleep. =/

Once, the rubbish truck came around 4:00 AM, but I was already awake.

I love waking up at 3 AM/never sleeping.

It did wake me up a few times when I was younger though, and considering I was awfully frightened of the dark, I usually lay petrified in my bed.

At my dorm in penn state, we have trucks full of food for the commons come in and unload downstairs at 3 in the morning. It's loud as hell, but you learn to sleep through it.

I sleep through almost everything except for the sun (I need good curtains)

Once I didn't even wake up when lightning struck the tree out the front of our house (to be fair, I sleep on the other side of the house) and it caught on fire and the bit that was on fire fell into the pool. All the windows on that side of the house shattered. (I'm being serious I didn't know until the next morning lmao) It was a wtf moment getting up and walking around.
