Footstools **** if you nail them immediately after your opponent double jumps on recovery. Especially people like Yoshi.

And its also used to CG heavies effectively.
In otherwords, ice climbers use footstool to their upmost advantage
Hylian and Chibi.
Kawaii just demonstrated it

When D3 is recovering you can almost always foot stool him. His aerial jumps give him small vertical height so you can just jump off the stage and get him. I do it at least once a set Vs. D3's. It will either kill them or force them to Up-B, which is easy to punish.

Footstools are incredibly useful. Not only can they gimp people with ****ty vertical recoveries (Bowser, DK, Peach) but they can also set up footstool comboes, like marths and TLinks Footstool->dair, and also as in footstool to locks, like Falco's and Pikachu's. It is very useful and it is actually 100% guaranteed footstool in those setups.

Footstools can be handy when trying recover. Eg, Bowser Footstooling on Kirby, to get back on the stage, but almost all the times I pull them off, they are by accident. They can also kill, if there are two players near the bottom KO barrier, one can footstool the other to kill him.
