Two more reason to tie Blaziken with Captain Falcon are those facts :

- It's one of the two Pokémons to learn the Blaze Kick attack (in short, the Falcon Kick), the other being Hitmonlee. It has average power, but it has increased critical hit ratio as well as 10% chance of burning the opposition.

- It can also learn the Hi-Jump Kick attack, which is described as a very powerful knee attack. However unlike Falcon's knee, if the attack misses it deals damage equal to half of the user's max HP rounded down. Its accuracy is not that bad though, so this isn't a huge rebuttal.

Unless you try to high jump kick and the opponent predicts it and switches to a ghost-type Poké

Yes, this can be a huge problem, unless you have a Pokémon using Foresight (which allows Normal and Fighting-types attacks to hit Ghost Pokémons), then baton-pass it to Blaziken.

were talking in the 404 page of this thread, i wonder if someone will find it.....also fliying types are too weak......unless their paired with some epic type like fire or dragon, and there´s no fliying/fighting pokemon yet. and legendaries are for ****ies.

Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos have low enough stats to be used in tourney. Other then that, Falcon's team would be six lvl 100 Arceus', all with a different plate that compliments the next.

He would also teach all of his Pokemon his moves. That way they can show them just like him. His moves would consist of:

Falcon kick: Kicks the life out of the enemy with manliness. If they're not dead, then they get several broken bones/become a vedegatable.

Falcon Dive: Grabs the opponet and causes them to self-destruct.* Shouts "YES!" in the process.
*May cause sexual pleasure.

Raptor Boost: Forms a fist of epicnes and uppercuts the opponet into space. This attack will always go first.

Knee of Justice: Attacks the enemy with powerful knee, may cause lighting the strike in the area for 7 days. Also is known to contain sexual content.

Falcon Punch: Destroys the universe with the most feared move in the game. It had to me removed from it being overpowered, but Captain Falcon got it back for his Pokemon. This move will always hit, and will knock out (if not kill) the entire team of the enemy. You will win instintly if Captain Falcon orders this move. If somehow someother Pokemon uses this move, they will kill themselves with to much manliness in their bodies.

- Fire Punch (Falcon Punch)
- Blaze Kick (Falcon Kick)
- Brave Bird (Falcon Dive / Blue Falcon)

no, give that blaziken a moveset that can protec it from super effective pokemons, like this:

ghost claw
thunder punch
fire blast
scald

like that you kill almost effectiveness agains blaziken

ghost claw>psych types
thunder punch>fliying types
fire blast>it need an attack that matches it type
scald>rock and ground types.

seriously, don´t make a team for captain falcon that will just look good, make it that it can kick mayor ***

Actually, only Emboar (the newest fire starter's full evolution) can learn Scald... Also in case you guys don't know, due to Blaziken's Dream World ability (Speed Boost), it can take on the Uber metagame (that's what I've read, at least).

Great ! If the Anime gets dubbed in french, I won't expect too much praise from fans... Unless they manage to reintroduce Black Shadow's pun on Falcon's name from the french version of F-Zero GP Legend on the GBA (Salcon if I remember correctly).

In practice, I found him to be lacking; weakness to stealth rock, weakness to common types and not the best movepool around.

Blaziken doesn't have a weakness to the Stealth Rocks, thanks to its Fighting-type. After one turn of Speed Boost, it can take on Darkrai and numerous Dark-types, as well as roasting Forretress and the likes.

Under the sun, Blaziken @1 Swords Dance + Life Orb OHKOs Giratina-O with Flare Blitz.

Right. I stand corrected on the stealth rock weakness.

But he has a weakness to psychic, water and ground. All common attack move types.

In my experience, Blaziken just kicks the bucket a little too early in ubers.

Psychic-type attack are quite rare in Ubers (except maybe for Mewtwo's Psystrike), but I do agree about Ground and Water being common.

In all honesty, I thought Chapter 1 / 5 and 7 were the most difficult chapters on Very Hard. That's just me though.

@CaptainFalcon9000 : Months ago in a commercial center, I could get my hands on a GCN Controller (non-official, because it has a turbo button). A few weeks after that the Directionnal Stick was going wild (whenever I push it, the input would go crazy). Ironic enough, I can still play F-Zero GX thanks to the Options that let you switch any inputs of the game on your controller (I moved the Directionnal Stick controls to the D-Pad beneath it).

I'm still pretty annoyed that all my game data for that game is lost. I'd bought all the characters in a legit, non-hacked fashion and the memory card with that data got lost. Recent playthrough, I beat all of story mode, bought the characters I actually liked... ehh, still sticking with custom vehicles and Kate Allen / Captain Falcon / Black Shadow as my drivers when I'm not using the Blue Falcon.

That song was always my inspiration to use Falcon competitively. What better way to get the adrenaline pumping than driving down a highway at 2000km/h with a speed-controlled bomb strapped to your vehicle? aaaaaaa
