There was a lack of pictures from the original game showing that the wand was closed from those previous posts[...]
Wrong again:
At first I wanted to make the closed flower a proper spiral like
ingame, but decided against it and went for a regular cone to keep the poly count lower. I think it looks good enough like this anyway.
It's literally in the my post I quoted just above.
[...]plus these posts didn't mention anything about how different Furil's sticks were.
Moving the goalpost. I never even remotely said anything about any difference or not. I called you out on saying
no one brought up that that her stick can be closed when
that has been brought up just last week, in a message you even quoted, nothing more, nothing less. When you are trying to make an arguement, it would do you good to read a bit more properly, just like how you claimed there were no in-game screenshots, despite me even quoting my post which has one.
Look, missing something is fine, can happen, but making a bold claim like saying "no one's brought this up" and then trying to move the goalpost when shown otherwise is not. And trust me, as someone ho's been around this place for a while now, everything has been brought up at one point or another. The figures you've shown above? Old hat by now.
The site with the fanmade Lip figure?

brought this one up quite a while ago, including a lot of fanart. Pokemon Puzzle Challenge starting as a Panel de Pon game and having a lot of leftovers? Has been discussed as well, I even made a ROM patch and video to show the fairies in motion 1-2 years ago.
That's just how it is with a stagnant franchise like this. The fairies have only been in 1 game (2 if you count the new cast of the GC game). The Lip cameo in Puzzle League DS has been made inaccessible in international version and every other game had either Yoshi, Pokemon or a generic artstyle. I mean, I guess there's the Animal Crossing stuff, but that just had a generic "Flower Fairy" name, as AC never uses the names of characters for items (see Big Bro Stache, for example). I remember how we were hoping this was a sign for things to change, finally some Lip recognition in the west... boy, how wrong we were. And as for Captain Rainbow, that game did not only bomb, but the less said about the character portrayals in this game the better.
There just isn't anything left to talk about at this point, everything has been brought up more than once. It's the same discussions over and over again. It's sad, but that's how it is, you can thank Fire Emblem Systems for this. And before you ask, yes, I've become quite jaded. Comes with the nature of supporting things Nintendo doesn't want to know about for one reason or another. Been supporting Lip since the Brawl days, she has yet to make an actual appearance in the games, all we got was a sticker of
some fairies, mind you, they didn't even have the correct name. Stafy? Been also supporting him since Brawl, The result? Being the laughingstock of Assist Trophies for three games in a row, only marginally better than Goldeen and being flat out worse than Marill. Not to mention his only game that got an English release still wasn't released in Europe. F-Zero? Last game was 15 years ago, for the GBA... in Japan only. No, Mario Kart 8 is not an acceptable substitute, Nintendo. Not to mention, Falcon is the only character from the original 12 whose series still hasn't gotten a second rep.
And I'm gonna be real now, if Lip (or Furil) doesn't make it in, not even as an Assist Trophy, I'm gonna throw the towel. We've had Stafy, Takamaru, Prince of Sable, Sukapon, Devil and Saki, Even the Arcade Bunny and Sheriff have been Assist Trophies. Hell, even
PONG is one. There's literally no reason at this point not to have Lip in the game in one way or another. And if she gets overlooked again, I'm gonna make my own for Lip for Brawl. I learned how to model because there was no Lip model. I learned hot to rig because no one would rig her. And i swear, I will learn how to make movesets just for this. But enough rambling for now.
