After watching the first ep I gotta agree. Altho when it gets toted as being gurren lagann v2 and doesn't live up then people hate it even more. I'll still give it a chance cus I almost never drop an anime after only watching the first ep but it doesn't look too promising.

I never heard it as being anything like Gurren Lagann, I just dled it because I saw the ED on youtube haha.
But seriously anyone who compares it with TTGL except to show the difference between "good" and "bad" needs to die.

I actually found out about it cus someone on animelist recommended it cus it was "supposedly" like gurren lagann -_-

I guess cus its over the top action, with slap stick commedy, and the art style is kinda the same but in terms of actually being a good anime, its mediocrity at its finest in comparison to TTGL.

I'm hoping the show starts to be like the ending haha

It was actually funny, for some reason, when I rewatched it.

And the thread title doesn't apply to me, either, as I change it SEVEN times a week. (Sometimes EIGHT [« I'm beginning to hate this number],
if I change during midnight on Thursday then change it again after a new episode airs with an image from that episode.)

SMS is a must, and WDtCG? has to follow SMS, or else the characters would be left stranded [those that read the novel should
know what I mean ]). But if this is the case, it's still sad to see the entire Vanishment arc being shorter than E8...
