By the way, this thread's name is "KyoAni/KEY".. In the anime thread finder this was listed as the K-on! thread, but the name and the discussion here say otherwise..
Halp!

In other words, what animes/mangas/stuffs does this thread cover?

It covers Kyoto Animation Studio's works which includes K-ON! and is currently producing the new season of Haruhi. KEY is a visual novel studio that partnered with KyoAni to make their novels into anime.

This used to be the K-On! hype thread, lol.

I wasn't here, but "we" were crazy for K-ON! before it's airing.

Then it went to CLANNAD, Haruhi S2, BlazBlue, etc.
Don't forget Melty Blood. MB always manages to squeeze it somehow.
Oh, and I also noticed that Sawako's also getting a CD in August. I never knew that until I went to the official website.

Oh, and doesn't it seem odd that this thread has many similarities to the K-On club. As awesome as we are, we seem to be at risk at getting this thread locked at times. And to others, they think we're never on topic yet, we always (kinda) are.

Basically, as I see it...

KyoAni/KEY thread=K-On! Club
Thread being locked=Disbanding of the club
Off topic-ness=Tea and cake
On topic-ness=Practicing
Steel2nd as a mod=Sawako-sensei :)

True. Anyone have Netplay? :p

Lol @ K-On Club = This thread. So true.

I want BlazBlue. No. I NEED BLAZBLUE! My 360 is sitting there with a 3 month LIVE and Halo with other shooters. I don't have much passion for shooters anymore :p

Fighters all the way! and JRPG's.

If you want the story to fit the novel most accurately, then watch the first episode (the one where the whole episode is them doing fun stuff during the first loop), then watch the 2nd episode, but stop right at the beginning of the part where they talk in the café after doing everything on the list (on the 30th), which should be near the end. Then watch the episode that actually has the conclusion (which isn't shown, yet, but hopefully, that'd be this week's episode), starting at the café scene (on the 30th).

Edit: About halfway through the 2nd Endless Eight, you'll know the answer to that question of yours.

Thanks. What's with the rest of the episodes? Lol. Don't tell me they replay episodes :\

The last time I read the novels was around Spring of last year o.o Hopefully I'll just remember what's supposed to happen when I watch.

and hopefully, the Gamestop in the 18-mile-away mall will still have BlazBlue LE copies by the end of this week or next week ;_;

The rest of the episodes are basically the same. They have (practically) the same dialogue and everything.
They just redrew everything at different angles here and there to try and keep things fresh.

I was lucky. I didn't preorder mine, but there was 1 left since GS had enough preorders to order a box of them.
In other news, endless summer is endless. However, I heard it'll end this thursday, but who knows.
I sure hope so. E8 took a lot of this season's episode slots already.

Oh, and new avy. I'll probably go back to Konata avatars after Len. :)

Is it me or does KyoAni always end their anime's too fast? Though they have done that in the past years, but I can't help but to look back at some of the anime and think "they should had made it longer".

i like the quality put into the series instead of having some long series where the art is mediocre. i liked what they did with clannad and split it into two parts.

Ah true. Most anime's that end around 20-25 episodes do get high ratings. Though some anime's tend to end without telling the whole story and such.

For all of those that you listed, I just read the manga for them. Saves me a lot of trouble.

I'm not a really big fan of it. I saw the first season because it was one of my friend's most favorite anime at that time, and he suggested it to me. Then I downloaded the first 15 or so episodes of Kai while they aired, but still haven't watched them. They've been sitting somewhere in my desktop computer's hard drive for over a year(?) now... He's still pushing me to watch it and Umineko, so I'll get to it one of these days...

Higurashi was just awesome... I still need to watch Higurashi no Naku Koro Kai... (Yu-Gi-Oh is too awesome ^.^) also the first episode of Higurashi no Naku Koru Rei was just pure retardedness and funny.

It's scary and awesome, if you can, watch all the episodes, it just makes you go crazy <3
