Also at the same time, not everyone can afford sticks. Their stupid expensive.
I obviously can't afford one because otherwise I would'nt have this problem.
I can't really complain because its the tournament runner's choice to pick one console over another, but I'm just disappointed they don't have both consoles.

Story mode updates and maybe even *gasp*, additional characters are what the rumors say...

Btw, I still can't get internet for my Xbox, apparently the modem can't identify the existence of XboxLive -.-

This lack of internet has given me the opportunity to learn Ragna, Carl, Tager, Rachel, and V-13. Get at me!

every 2 sunday's tourney. its consistent and we love consistency =3.

anyway florida players should goto this and rep this place. first tourney was decent but with a bigger attendance, they can provide back to the players in the future; such as sponsorships, bigger venue, etc., etc.

so hype it up and come to it next sunday! we want everyone in this thread there. make money. MM people. theres also gonna be a "ranking system eventually" so beast these tournies for ur place in that rank if ya want. just hype this up!

oh and...

hopefully u will stick with her when they nerf her to normal levels lol. i can see her being the same but instead of having full screen attacks her range is nerfd considerably to mid to front zoning/range.

First off. BlazBlue is 1000x easier to learn than GGXX.

Secondly. I was kidding.

Thirdly.
Well. At my first tournament I placed 7th(attendance was decent), above all the other Nu players. It was an XBox tournament so I'm not even gonna count that(I practice on PS3 pads).
But from what I heard from everyone that I played that was there, they kept telling me I'm one of the best Nu's they played and they frequent tourneys more than me.
Can't wait to see how well I do on the PS3.


I would buy a stick but im pretty broke. haha.

Nerf her?
I can't imagine them updating a game that has already been released for "balance". The only update I see is a completely new iteration(BlazBlue 2?)

sticks are stupid expensive from what I've seen.
I don't have $100+ to blow on a stick. I don't even own a PS3 personally. lol.
I'll do the opposite.
I'll start winning tournaments. Save up money. Then buy a stick rather than buy a stick and earn it back.

I played Fizz-sama in some matches today and they were all good (besides the first one where I did horrible, haha).

I've noticed the one weakness of my Arakune is smart and aggressive players who rush me down. I really need to learn to get over this.

As for this update, I'll actually be happy if Arakune gets nerfed. I don't like my favorite character being top tier.

I picked up V-13 to fight Arakune.
Anyone who plays Arakune deserves to be counter picked for playing the most annoying character in the game(in my opinion).
I also picked her up to win matches easily(You'd be surprised at how many people don't know how to block..)

@shady, just learn to block and learn to memorize the order of the resets, try to see his mix-ups block accordingly and punish when possible DO NOT SPAM anything besides block while ur being hit, otherwise ull eat a counter combo : < and those suck lol.

btw make sure ALL ur confirmed hits go straight into a 6000k+ C Loop :3

also @FiZZ, we must play again, i want to see how much we have changed since we last played =3

Yeah, I remember playing with you. And it really is a shame that you couldn't enter if you had matches like those against the guy who won.

I'll be back in Atlanta starting this Saturday, and Smilax in the BlazBlue IRC channel on EFnet was looking for some more GA players. Perhaps we can get a group together to play some time?

Marty soon I'm going to be in need of some serious BB training. My friend has the game, and I spent all night playing it and attempting to learn the basics of 2D fighters.

Can't believe I'm already placing.
I beat the best Arakune and Ragna in the state, but lost in a Nu ditto.
Arakune gets destroyed Nu-13 pretty badly. Its pretty sad. All the C-loops in the world can't help that guy out in that match up.

Someone should condense all of Arakune's evil laughter into one video.

Also, Ragna has 10,000 HP. With his Drives, I'm assuming he has around a theoretical 11,000? Possibly a lot more if it's a more defensive match and he builds a lot of heat for his Health Drain Distortion.
