Also, time for some Mu training today. Do you guys feel like practicing with music is more entertaining? If so, what do you listen to?
I did this a lot when I used to practice melee. I havent for blazblue at all.

I finally started practicing this game, since I bought extend last week. I'm starting to enjoy it more and more as I learn the basics. xP

Also, if you don't mind Lythium, change my info in the op to platinum + lambda please. I'm starting to learn Lambda and I enjoy her a lot, so I'll definitely be using her as my secondary. As for Tao, I don't enjoy playing her very much any more and I almost never do now in Extend so go ahead and take her off.

yeasterday i had a ssf4 tournament and played with 2 borrowed qanba sticks.in my first match i pressed start, because the start button is sooo close to the action buttons.thats the only problem of the stick imo.we just continued the match, but thats one thing that you have to be careful about, jdietz,if you intend to play tournaments.
I should be ok hopefully. I'm used to the smash scene where pause = DQ, and since it's the first and only stick I've used I shouldn't have any muscle memory telling me to hit the start button (or I'll learn some that prevents me from doing so)

Everything I've ever thought about Ragna's 5B is depicted in this image. It's just so amazing XD.

Also, hello again everyone ^^;. My Summer Break has just started, so I hope to be posting here WAY more often than before! I've missed you all and I hope we can talk sometime soon ^__^. It's good to be back!

Speaking of stupid hitboxes, Relius' robot hand attacks should not have hurtboxes. :mad088:

It would be amazing.

Yes it would.

That move has more range than Ragna 5B, it would be stupid good without a hurtbox, and I'd love it. :3

Relius does need a little something more though, but I'm not sure what.
At least the balance in this game is great.

I have a feeling Arcsys wanted to avoid making him Eddie tier so they intentionally held back.

They'll probably be more daring in the next game, but until then. :/

I would say that he needs more mixup wise though, as it is now he only has 6A, air attacks, throws, and trying an unblockable setup.

Maybe more Ignis meter?

That gears/junk pile Distortion doing more than 500 damage, maybe? ;)
Nah, the good thing about that super is that you can move around freely once it's out, so you set up some shenanigans.

I agree.

I think he just needs better mixup, in general.

I admittedly never fought any really good Eddies in Accent core, so I was always able to double air dash, air knife throw, or Hair Car around stuff like that. Or Closet-port mixups if I switched characters.

Aye, I be lucky. When you're not fighting people that are super pro, you can get away with a surprising amount of Millia (and Faust) shenanigans. Until they go Potemkin and kill you in 2-3 punches because you're the character with the worst defense in the game. :glare:

With the people I played with, I was the one pulling the Faust shenanigans. It was glorious.

...then a Slayer perfected me. In two games. I lost the will to troll as Faust in Accent Core.

GG's pretty hard when you don't know the matchup. Not knowing shenanigans or weight specific combos can be really bad.
I've only played 2 people that knew GG really well. I did especially bad since all I was focusing on was BB during that time

GG probably wont get a massive revival with this, but because it will be on current gen consoles it may show up at more tournament, and it will have netplay which will be enough to get some people to stay with it. It could also help lead to a new GG.

I'm excited for it, even if P4A is getting all of my hype right now.

Well apparently Tsubaki's 236d isn't safe on guard any more.

/new to csex still

Did they really have to nerf Tsubaki...?

Tsubaki/Rachel/Litchi nerfs made no sense to me... Especially Rachel. She was completely fine, so I don't really get why they nerfed her...

Or even touch her for that matter. I really don't think they needed to make any to her... But what do I know, BBCS:EX is the most balanced yet, so maybe they did need to, I don't know XD.

I'm pretty sure it's safe on normal block, but yeah, she's at a frame disadvantage now.
Nope, it's not, and no, they didn't.

Or Rachel or Litchi, for that matter.
I think Rachel stayed where she was at. Having a special cancelable j2C from CT is nice.

Fair enough, I wouldn't really know. :3

236D is -4, and if any of her shield rush attacks are "badly spaced," they become worse on block. Go figure. :I

Actually, all of Tsubaki's everything is minus now, basically. Especially her specials.

That's unfortunate. I have a friend who's been sticking with Tsubaki since CT and now he's got the "forever destined to be mid-low tier" bug. :<

For the time, I'll keep working on Lambda. I noticed her defensive options are pretty terrible now, I can't seem to find anything safe to get out of pressure besides her DDs. I could have sworn gravity seed used to have invuln, but it seems much less useful in csex. Fortunately her neutral game is still fantastic, so I'm trying to play that to my advantage the best I can and get it down.
