Oh this is perfect timing. So I am talking with Gameyard and I need to know what is a good weekend for you guys for the next tournament. I'm thinking October or early November. Note MLG DC is like the 3rd weekend of October. And Youmacon is the last weekend I believe. Other than that:

I'm already assuming L_Cancel will be in my car since he's got all his Skype buddies going. Seat priority then goes to more skilled people since I'm making the best person I drive team with me.

Tech, I forgot to mention my standard rule of people having to be en route from East Lansing to Ann Arbor to Cincinnati. If you can get to any location along that trail, you're in no problem.

I'd still suggest waiting on other tourneys. There are plans for several more to be put into place.

For Cinci, my requirement for making the drive is to team with Lain or a Lain-like replacement. Lain will fight this idea so we'll see how that goes.

For this Saturday, I'm thinking about having a smashfest in East Lansing.

If you were driving people it'd be from MI to MI. If this were a MI tournament, I wouldn't care because at worst I'd be driving two hours total, which includes the already minimum hour for me to get to any MI tournaments.

This is two six hour car rides adding 650 miles to my car. If I go that far I want to ensure I get at least a good doubles experience.

On top of this, any time a tournament rolls around, Lain calls everyone and offers to team with them for a ride to the tournament when time starts running out to get there. I'm just bringing that condition up now to make it a planned trip instead of a last minute one.
