So I've never done Ganondorf vs Luigi before and I was in for quite a ride. Add that to the fact that my missed inputs were turning tilts/dashes into smashes, and I had a tough time at the beginning of this match. But I learned quite a bit in this match, most importantly that dash attacks beat out fireballs, and to never challenge Luigi in the air.
Also in this video I almost pull off a super sweet combo around 1:43
just didn't wait on the counter's active frames to end.
One of my biggest problems playing Ganondorf is that I often try to play him and other characters all in the same style. I'm very aerial based, but I don't know if that works for Ganondorf all too well. Can aerial fighting be a viable strategy for Ganondorf, and if so, how should I go about it? And if not, what are some good ground based alternatives?
I'm really just looking for any critique in general, I'd appreciate anything you guys could say.
