Boost Guardian in Echoes on Hard/Hypermode. Guaranteed to die at least once before killing him...at least I do
Mogenar in Corruption...I died quite a few times to this a-hole on Hypermode. He can be a real energy-drainer.

Well, that's gonna be the case for a lot of games that have the option. Said bosses and I'm sure a bunch of others aren't difficult on other difficulties, but then they get CRAZY HARD...just saying.

since the OP didn't disallow mini bosses, I say gardenia if you happen to be doing a solo run with a water type pokemon >_>

If not then I don't think I have that one boss. I usually just rage at hard levels mostly, like using the glider made by da vinci in assassins creed 2. >_>

By your comments on this topic, you hate everything. Seriously, it's like people have to be afraid of what boss they want to post here. >_> Grow up?

Have you noticed the Metroid Games' difficulty spike really bad? Normal is easy, Hard is easy, Hypermode is "lol you better know this game by heart"

Ex. Metroid Prime in MP1 is meh in Normal, okay in hard, and in hypermode it is if you need to know everything about him to hope to stand a chance.

Also while I'm on it:

-Emperor Ing is a little annoying on MP2
-Larkecius(sp) on Crystal Chronicles : Echoes of Time is a lot harder compared to the other bosses pre-that, and if you're not ready he can sweep you.
-Battle Tower Platinum/HGSS. Nuff said.
-The last star in SMG2 (watched vidoes/heard, can't wait to try)
- Kuja(SS4 form) in a low level game of FFIX

Also, any boss in FF1 for the NES is a beast, half the time they own a Death spell that never misses.

Shame that in the GBA remake (the only version I've ever played) the entire game is made to be super easy. I honestly can't remember ever wiping in that game, even on the final boss (who is a pushover if you play it smart).

Wiegraf at Riovanes Castle

also doesn't help that you have to start the game over if you are not ready and you only have one save right before the fight

That game is amazing. Never play the NES version. Coming from an extreme hardcore gamer, that game is too hard. I'm the kind of person who likes having the best armor, over leveled, etc. And that game.. I'd progress 1% into the storyline to spend 10 hours farming money. Sad thing is, all that money farmed and I was still only lvl14 (I didn't get too far on that file)

The xp/lvl goes like.
lv1 - 300 tnl
lv2 1000
lv3 3000
lv4 5000

And it goes up astronomically high and you only get like 80/fight per person, which is...pretty bad considering the fights can take up to 8 minutes due to the slow battle system.

I never could beat it, I had a War/Monk/Blm/Whm... the mages costed so much... I never could do it. >_<

Monk? Really? That guy turns to dirt pretty early in the game. I suggest using the Red Mage in his place instead.
Not in the NES one. Turn of all armor, don't have any on, and in time his attacks will be the best.

Fighter - Decent damage/takes hits
Monk - All out damage
Whm - obv
blm - obv

In the GBA blm sucks because of DoT, but in the NES it's a lifesavor for AoE spells, etc.

In the NES version, monk is the ONLY JOB that can successfully do decent damage on bosses imo. (we could all just try ninja. lol I hate you SE)

Yeah, the dragon is like, broken (not in a good way)

Anyways, one boss I can think of is this guy

The third boss in A Link to the Past. It's not even dying that's the problem in this fight. STOP KNOCKING ME OFF THE LEVEL GODDAMMIT

you dont understand. ok if your playing on a harder difficulty it's supposed to be hard. so that automatically doesn't count. i want bosses that are that one boss, not some loser boss one guy has a problem with. i take my tropes and internets very seriously,

So seriously you use a comma instead of a period at the end of your sentence! Just kidding, I get what you're saying I guess. So by those terms, I'd say the spider in Pikmin 1. If it's boulders hit right, it can cause half your army to die =/

Moldorm isn't that bad at first, but as it racks up damage, it moves progressively faster and faster until it's near impossible to not get knocked off the arena by that stupid worm.

Actually, I had no trouble with Metroid Prime on hypermode-the boss or the game. But Echoes and Corruption have HUGE spikes in difficulty...

There's this one boss in Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days that I CAN NOT beat. It's this tank thing at Beast's Castle with like 5 bars of health or something.
