just click 'codemanager.exe' and then click 'file' in top corner of codemanager, then click 'opentxtfile' find the 1 you want,put checkmarks in the box by clicking the codes you want to use, then click 'file' then export to GCT. put ther GCT into the code folder on your sd card and load brawl with codes usnig gecko,ocarina,usbloaders.....Can someone tell me how to add codes in codemanager?? Or how to use it in general??
use them both(pcs and pac)for best compatiblityAh ok so for modes outside of versus mode the .pac is necessary and of course for the chars you mentioned above. Just wondering cause i was gonna try this out later today and i didn't want my game freezing or anything from having a multiple .pcs/.pac copy within the same folder. And it won't right?
What is the file supposed to be named if it's replacing custom stage textures? After spending two hours on google, I'm tired of looking. >.<

ahh i see... there are a few neat stgedit textures out , i like the 1 for the new mario bros pieces , geuss i should posted the edit pieces too, ehExcept, the custom stages aren't on either list. I'm looking to replace a texture for a stage you build with the stage builder.

you must be using a USA codes for the wrong region, thats my geussQuestion - When I try to use the code, the game freezes before it loads (Friend's PAL game). When I use another region of the game (my J-NTSC copy), it plays, but without the textures working - I only have one 512MB memory card, could this be the problem? All other codes play fine.
hum the code way huh?? sorry i only know theI have downloaded B+ and I'm just editing the "fighter" file with texture codes.
However when I go into the game to play with them it like freeze's on me either in the character select screen or in the stage screen. IDK what I am doing wrong...
Any help?
Alright I don't get this. Do you replace one of your custom levels with the already created custom levels of stgedit? If so, how do you get the .pac file of the level you created?Except, the custom stages aren't on either list. I'm looking to replace a texture for a stage you build with the stage builder.

#1 It wont let me export it. That's the problem.....1. you have to export to gct.
2. just download it from the homebrew browser.
I have hit both "1" and "wii menu" and so far I don't see any utilities...1. you have to click on the boxes to activate the codes so you can export.
2.um....go to the homebrew browser on the homebrew channel.....go to utilities...go to the Gecko OS one, download it....
There is no utility thing. All I see is floating bubble's.you have to download them on the homebrew browser...go to the utilities section and find it and download it.

Well you didn't HAVE to use the B+ premade pack for one. Brawl+ doesn't have any default textures (if you deleted everything inside Fighter then you shouldn't even be able to play Brawl+ because you're missing .pacs.).I've been reading most of this thread since a week or so, and yet I did not find a way to fix the problem I've got with textures I've added. What I've been trying to do is to delete all of what I'd call the Brawl+ Default Textures (By that I mean PokeballKirby, TailsFox, LuigiRocket, etc.) to add some textures I've found on Kitty-"Something I don't remember but doesn't matter". I deleted all that was in the fighter folder, put back an empty sonic folder (for my textures are all for sonic) and put all the .pcs and .pac files for the textures in the sonic folder. The thing is, Brawl+ Default textures are still there even when deleted, so I was like "What the crap ? I deleted them, didn't I ?". Not only that, I tried renaming the files to FitSonic01.pcs/pac, FitSonic02.pcs/pac, etc. but it still did not work, and I still had those freaking Default textures and no Brawl Original textures as I wanted...It seems like those Default textures overwrite the custom ones even if I deleted them...
What I actually want is Brawl+ with all Brawl Original textures BUT all Sonic, other than original, with custom textures. The fact that I downloaded the textures and renamed them like said earlier should have made it work, right ? If anyone here knows how to put back the original textures in Brawl+ and still be able to add custom textures, please let me know, for I've lost all my patience at trying to figure it out on my own lol.
BTW, this is my first post, but I've been around for a year without registration.
Anyway, if my question was too specific for the thread, just PM me.
(I.E. select another costume/character then reselect your costume/character), and the Wii will start clicking to tell you its loaded.
