Texture hacking olimar

All of olimar's texture hacks suck. Bad.

I was wondering what the olimar forums would like in an olimar texture. I plan on dabbling in texture hacking, so hopefully I can get some cool stuff done.

First priority is obviously hacking off those horrid blue gloves :]

Any ideas?

That's an interesting idea. Olimar's helmet is weird in that it moves/changes with the camera angle. A simple design like that could make it look as if the red part is flashing (like the real alpha).

And besides... we all know alpha was in charge of the power rangers... errr... pikmin X:

I personally like the Star Trek Olimar. But yeah the other textures suck badly.

As for suggestions, I'll come back later to that.

Though I haven't been able to test it out myself, I've heard that olimar's helmet is hard to hack because the helmet moves with the camera angle... or something like that. @.@

I'll try it out when I can. I'm in the process of figuring stuff out. If inferno can make captain falcon pokemon hacks w/o prior hacking knowledge.... I'm sure I can figure something out XD

hey you should make an olimar in a bunny suit. but leave the blue gloves, for all of us blue gloves toon link users. but yes, star trek oli, spongebob oli, or power rangers oli would be AMAZING as well

EDIT: Just found out that you can't texture the helmet, even if you could, it would come out horribly. =(

That said, it seems like it would be difficult or impossible to get it perfectly.
There is another earthbound enemy that might work, though.

I think a good match for olimar is
Spaceman spiff from calvin and hobbes

You've already got the teal color, all you need is the gloves/boots and the goggles
or maybe just straight up calvin
and you can pair that up with a hobbes Lucario for the perfect team
