They have a much more limited crafting set...I think they can only use the first two tiers. Can't craft hats/special.

Stranges are easy to sell if they're desirable. If it's something dumb like a strange natascha it's hard.

I'll take one of your Strange Eyelanders. Get me on Steam whenever you're on and we can trade. (Steam ID is GwJumpman)

To resume the conversation;

It melts when you have it out actively and with afterburn (which activates the moment you're lit on fire anyway).

But no, the spycheck is not obvious. When you hit a disguised Spy, it will not play the little "ding" noise even if you have that option disabled which is so that you, obviously, can't spam a room mindlessly sound whoring for dings.

So, if you spycheck a disguised spy as a Pyro, he will not catch on fire and it will not play any dings.
I wasn't talking about the dings. There's still a distinct burning sound when you hit a player or object, which is noticeable not only by sound but visually (as in the fire not phasing through the player or object.)

Oh, I see what you mean.

No idea then. I did however read a report from testers saying you are actually immune to fire damage during the 2 seconds. If that's true, you wouldn't hear a noise then.

I think that's the noise.
You also hear it when using flamethrower on Engy buildings, I believe.

Yep, which is why I said players or objects. Does anybody have the weapon for us to test it?

Can't you try the weapons from the store before you buy them?

Not as of yet. I've only managed to get the Canadian hat, and the Festive Sticky Bomb Launcher and Festive Minigun.

All of which are for sale.

You can 'borrow' weapons from the store for a week to try out, and if you like it and want to buy it, you get a 25% discount.

that seems stupid; if you try a weapon you get a discount. Who the hell wouldn't just go through that process and buy it immediately afterwards, if they were planning to buy it anyways?

When using the DR, it's just a higher damage pistol.

Well, I've heard that it does more damage but just by how much? I mean, people are saying it should be banned. Also what's the correlation between the Dead Ringer and the Enforcer? I don't recall reading in either of the weapon's descriptions that when used together, the Enforcer gets a buff.

When using the dead ringer, it's just significantly much better than every other revolver the spy has. Up close around 72 dmg, down to about 50 medium range (you shouldn't be using the revolver at a point where the damage falls off too far below this.) Therefore, you can easily kill most classes within 2-3 shots. Just like the revolver, it's pretty fast shooting and accurate, so if you can actually hit things it's pretty ridiculous.

Edit:
The thing is, when using watches BESIDES the Dead Ringer, it gives you a negative effect. (increased cloak time.) This balances the increased damage. When using the Dead Ringer, there is absolutely no downside so it's a straight upgrade from the revolver with a lot more damage

Edit 2:
*As opposed to the regular revolver which does 60-20, meaning any class could survive two point blank shots. Have to keep editing to answer your questions lol, sorry.

The Enforcer
20% more damage
0.5 second cloak delay

Dead Ringer
Instant 6 second cloak when hit

Can you see the problem? When you have Enforcer + Dead Ringer, you eliminate the Enforcer's only downside which makes it a straight upgrade. And for comparison, you can 2-3 shot a Pyro up close with this thing.

To put this in perspective.

Revolver
Point Blank: 55-60
Medium Range: 35-45
Long Range: 16-25
Critical Hit: 120

Enforcer
Point Blank: 70-72
Medium Range: 41-55
Long Range: 24-26
Critical Hit: 144

It's such a power lift that having no drawbacks to it when you use the Dead Ringer is quite obnoxious. Scouts, Engineers, Snipers, and Spies (disregarding health differences via Gunslinger, Kunai, etc.) are all 2HKO'd at close range, which is where you would be encountering these classes on an ideal situation. If an Engineer strays from their nest, you can just sap the buildings and shoot down the Engineer with raw force as he tries to come back. Pyro's are an easy 2HKO/3HKO at close range, and if you get set on fire you just activate the Dead Ringer to shed off the flames. Like with the Ambassador, being able to see opponent's health helps the Enforcer out so much, because you can pick off any weakened class with good aim and not be discovered. It's too much of a straight upgrade.
