Nope.Do you give perfection a 7?
The answer is: no, you don't
Which is why TW101 got a 7 and not a 10.

Nope.Do you give perfection a 7?
The answer is: no, you don't
You're missing out, FE7 is godlikeI don't have a Wii U, so that's not an option for me... yet.
(Still think it's lame for not existing GBA and DS titles for the 3DS... There must be understandable reasons, but it does leave a sour taste nonetheless.)
I've beaten LL, take that! The Lost Levels. The hardest Mario game ever. (If you don't count SMM or Kaizo)
We need the NintenZone dating sim to get madeLuigi's Ladies.
The next smash-hit romcom dating sim of course.
This does not make me look forward to how they will pan down Super Mystery Dungeon, because most reviewers label all Pokemon Spinoffs as garbage for no reasonIGN's Explorers of sky review is where I just gave up on ever listening to review sites opinions.
Gurl you cra cra! You're missing out, FE7 is godlike
I've beaten LL, take that!
We need the NintenZone dating sim to get made
You're contradicting yourself here...Nope.
Which is why TW101 got a 7 and not a 10.
I also beat CastleVania 1. Then again, it's not nearly the hardest in the seriesGurl you cra cra!
I hate how hard that game isThe Lost Levels. The hardest Mario game ever. (If you don't count SMM or Kaizo)
Try beating 2, you won't have much fun doing that.I also beat CastleVania 1. Then again, it's not nearly the hardest in the series
Simon's quest is ****, I prefer games that have aged well, games like SA1 are an exception due to my childhoodTry beating 2, you won't have much fun doing that.
Rondo of Blood is great! Even if it is only in Japanese. (I'm not getting a PSP)Simon's quest is ****, I prefer games that have aged well, games like SA1 are an exception due to my childhood
I respectfully don't see how. You're contradicting yourself here...
It has a little girl who has a ****ton of A Cup Angst who kills people with birdies. I want oneRondo of Blood is great! Even if it is only in Japanese. (I'm not getting a PSP)
You can just emulate 1-8 through your laptop/ComputerI don't have a Wii U, so that's not an option for me... yet.
(Still think it's lame for not existing GBA and DS titles for the 3DS... There must be understandable reasons, but it does leave a sour taste nonetheless.)
Well, most of my favorite games are about like a 7.5/10.What's that? People gave a game a relatively decent score? Oh the utter horror for not giving it the 10 out of 10 it truly deserves. Truly critics are the scum of humanity.
Saying you don't give a 7 to perfection and saying that's why TW101 has a 7I respectfully don't see how.
10 is perfection, W101 got a 7, thus W101 isn't perfection?
Or, what's perfection to you isn't perfection to someone else. There really wasn't any sort of contradiction in what Burb said.
I really didn't like their W101 review, it got things wrong and the game got criticized for said false flawsI honestly think review scores should go, I much prefer Gamexplain's new way of rating things. I also like in depth reviews that let the watcher decide what they think instead of listening to 4/10 or 10/10 scores that don't mean anything in the end since it all comes down to opinion.
Gamexplain? I more so meant their scoring system, "liked it", "loved it" etc.I really didn't like their W101 review, it got things wrong and the game got criticized for said false flaws
They did numbers back thenGamexplain? I more so meant their scoring system, "liked it", "loved it" etc.
Well, I think we got the better SMB2 game.I hate how hard that game is
But what I hate even more is that it should've been SMB2, just like in Japan.
Yeah I know, I'm talking about their new system. They did numbers back then
Hmm.Saying you don't give a 7 to perfection and saying that's why TW101 has a 7
Can't you see the contradiction here?
People are complaining about a 7/10 score? Just because it's not a 10 doesn't mean it's a bad score. It's closer to 10 than it is to 1.
I think 7 is a pretty fair score for TW101.
Do you give perfection a 7?(implication that to one, W101 is a perfect game)
The answer is: no, you don't
It's a matter of context.Nope.
Which is why TW101 got a 7 and not a 10. (someone else thinking the game isn't perfect)
Simon's Quest isn't hard, it's just confusing. If you know what you're doing you can beat it fairly quickly.Try beating 2, you won't have much fun doing that.
Yeah, three is the hardest, but Simon's Quest is the most confusing imo.Simon's Quest isn't hard, it's just confusing. If you know what you're doing you can beat it fairly quickly.
Castlevania III is a ***** and a half. First game is pretty easy if you know what you're doing and good at spamming holy water.
Because Gamespot are idiots. They reducted points for Metroid Prime 3 for not being Halo and for the controls being too goodPeople are talking about bad reviews, yet no one is bringing up Gamespots Tropical Freeze review?
Guys can we stop talking about review scores, what matters is that you play the game and that you enjoy it, not what some other person says about it.
EUGH did they really do that? Metroid and Halo should never be like each other, both have their own game design and goals.Because Gamespot are idiots. They reducted points for Metroid Prime 3 for not being Halo and for the controls being too good
I never said our SMB2 was a bad game.Well, I think we got the better SMB2 game.
I know you didn'tI never said our SMB2 was a bad game.
I'm just saying it would've been better as a spin-off.
Besides,it was all just a dream
As someone who loves Metroid, I definitely agree, although they are both space people with guns with heavy lore, especially for the Prime games, they are still different genres regardlessEUGH did they really do that? Metroid and Halo should never be like each other, both have their own game design and goals.
I remember when IGN said that Fire Emblem for Wii should've had Miis, but idk if they reducted points for that.
But you're letting these guys upset you because they said something stupid.Because Gamespot are idiots. They reducted points for Metroid Prime 3 for not being Halo and for the controls being too good
And Mario 3 took place in a theater.I never said our SMB2 was a bad game.
I'm just saying it would've been better as a spin-off.
Besides,it was all just a dream
I'm not letting the reviews ruin my fun with the game, but it just sucks seeing very petty stuff regardless of what the situation isBut you're letting these guys upset you because they said something stupid.
If you know the game is good
The game runs and controls well
And it's designed to be fun and it is then why should you be upset over it.
Don't let some guys on the Internet upset you that much over a game. Stupidity will forever exist but if you're even upset over it shows that you're on their level. Go above.
It's like the old saying
"Opinions are like ********, everyone has one"
Don't worry about it and don't get upset over reviews. We already know gaming journalism sucks so why get salty and triggered over it each day.
Be happy
Some people do care about review scores, though. I agree, review scores don't matter to me and I have yet to find any reviewer I will trust 100% (or really, to much of a degree at all) without feeling the need to try it out myself because experiences with all kinds of media, including games, can be so subjective, but not everyone feels that way, or reviews would not still be such a prominent form of writing.I said it, and I'm gonna say it again. (Or quote it)
