Mass Effect 3 was just general mess of a game that showed how much people will sit there and defend laziness because 'Bioware did nothing wrong' and that whole 'Gamers are entitled' argument and that was way before the whole [NAME REDACTED] mess

Hmm...if I had to change my handle here, I'd probably go with SuperBabyCow3DWorld or something.

There's 3 Nintendo games releasing tomorrow in Aus and I only am interested in one.

A Mario game, a Animal Crossing game, and a Style Savvy game.

I want Style Savvy more than 2 games in my favourite series.

Nintendo why.

(I do get a Falco and Tom Nook amiibo though)

Style Savvy is legit.

I'm playing through Trendsetters right now and I've been impressed by all of the customization it has. The boutique and fashion contest parts of it are fine, sure, but I'm mostly in it for the dress up sim bit. I'd probably buy a game that was literally just that, haha. The ability to completely change your character's appearance and keep all your progress in the bonus mode is cool too.

I really hope Style Savvy 3 gets released over here. Being a designer looks like it could be pretty fun, especially since it seems like it's kind of "Animal Crossing pattern making but more."

Okay, a while back, I dropped my 3DS XL a while back on some concrete. I opened it and turned it on. All the buttons worked. It loaded correctly. I thought I lucked out.

Now I turn it on to play it and I find out that the volume broke.

I can't turn it off and the slider won't go past half way up. I can slide it to the bottom but nothing happens to the volume.

What a dumb mentality to have. Sakurai's anti-competitive one that is.

It's not like having a competitive aspect precludes still being able to have a huge casual audience, Smash itself being a prime example. Including a deeper element not everyone is aware of doesn't mitigate the fun of the more surface qualities of Smash. Even if it was formed unintentionally, refusing to foster a dedicated, loyal, and passionate subset of the fanbase simply because it conflicts with an ideology of "how" to enjoy the game treads precariously close to anti-consumerism. And that's coming from someone who doesn't consider herself a "competitive Smasher".

Thankfully Nintendo does seem to be embracing the competitive community more these days.
