I, uh. . .had a pattern behind the way I arranged it that looked better in Roster Maker. The top section is all of the Smash 4 characters in alphabetical order with a block of placeholders, set up in a way so that any cuts would be conspicuous. I separated first and third parties weirdly because I forgot the image would be transparent, and Elma. . .kind of did her own thing.

So this is the roster you are given to make more realistic (if possible).

Source Gaming should make one for Snake ( if they haven't already ). Wolf is going to be in SF Zero and might be brought back to the next Smash game ( If there is one ), Ivysaur and Squirtle have Pokemon and possibly next Smash game, ICs have cameos and possibly next game and you get the idea with Young Link and Pichu.
However with how Konami has been lately i don't have much expectations for him nor the MGS series advancing any time soon, it's a shame to lose such a unique fighter.
And this is coming from someone who never played a MGS game ( Unless you count that fanmade christmas game ) nor used Snake in Smash much.

Just had a lovely little conversion with a Know It All on Facebook who clearly didn't understand how one element in negotiations can hold up an entire game.

It was about how he thought all the DLC should have just been base game content.

His problem for negotiations stalling production? Start them earlier. I bring up how that would just hurt other content and take time from it like Sonic did with Brawl.

He then later changed his tune and said ''Oh, negotiations for one character don't stall an entire game. That's now how the industry works. I took a few classes."

Ok so I updated my roster after playing around in the maker:

I cut Crash and Mike Jones, and badge bunny. This was so I could organize it a bit better.

-I added in bandanna dee because he is fairly requested, didn't disrupt the previous arrangement, would be a unique newcomer to do, without taking to much time( they could probably build his model off of Kirby's in all honesty.) Plus he is awesome!

-I cut Crash because I thought it be more realistic that way, and I wanted to change the Css a bit.

-I added Chorus kids. They were meant for the first one, but I forgot about them. I added them to this, due to them being similar to the Ice Climbers it seems, and they would be easier to make because of it.

-Lastly I added Infantry. I know most people go for andy or sammi for an advance wars rep, but I think the tanks make more sense and could be a really cool follow character( similar to the Chorus kids. Plus they are a retro like rep as well.

With that out of the way,

Maybe they made a special exception, but Villager's Pocket and Rosalina's Gravitational Pull usually work on the same stuff, and Rosalina's Gravitational Pull can absorb Pikmin if it's from one of Olimar's Smash attacks.

So Villager should be able to pocket Pikmin that way.

I find something off about the Layton > Jibanyan argument because it seems to partially function on circular logic (I.E. We should request him because we're requesting him), but looking at how other rosters are being critiqued I may as well just start from the beginning and make a secondary roster that covers the issue of trying to make it accurate in the eyes of the public because no one is going to agree on the realism of any one roster.

A) A roster will never be agreed on. Here we are over a year after Smash 4 came out and we still hear complaints about it.

B) Let me try to explain in more depth my case of Layton > Jibanyan.

Layton as a series has run from 2007 to the last installment in 2013 with a total of 8 entires. 6 mainline, 1 spin-off, and then the Ace Attorney Crossover.

It's a series that's been notably acclaimed for its lifespan and it IS a series that really stands out on its own and has done well for itself across the globe (last citing of sales I could find was an announcement in August 2013, at 15 million). Despite the current hiatus, the series is confirmed to be something the maker is intending to continue and Layton 7 IS something that has been announced in some capacity. Layton as a figure HAS been an icon of sorts especially of the DS era for Nintendo and I feel like such is notably more that can be said FOR Jibbers at this current time.

As we've seen a more global impact in some of the decision making in Smash () I feel that just looking at the, admittedly large, success of Yokai Watch in Japan is holding it at a higher than it is at this point.

It's not so much of "Request Layton because he's been requested" as "Layton remains a popular and somewhat iconic 3rd Party for Nintendo's history" in the same vein as Phoenix Wright but Jibanyan just seems too enrooted for Japan that I kinda wouldn't be surprised if the series became Japan-only akin to Puyo Puyo because of the raw disparity in popularity.

I could be talking out of my butt but I feel like the two as they stand are on different levels. I'm sure some people will disagree with me on this.
