Same. One near the start, an echo in the middle, and one at the end. They can use the Echo near the middle to hard explain how they work. At the very least, it'll put the thoughts to rest if Bill was mistranslating, saying his own thoughts, or correct.

It would make sense

Bring a popular fighter that everyone has some expectations to make it in


Bring an Echo that everyone would expect in the middle


Then a fighter that everyone wants at the end to make the hype train at full speed like they did with Ridley

I did post the following predictions at the Smash Ultimate discussion thread...

1. King K. Rool is revealed as the next newcomer. Details about his moveset would also be given to us.
2. More information about the Final Smash changes.
3. The customization situation. This includes the custom specials dilemma, along with how the game would interact with your amiibo.
4. More Poke Ball Pokemon and Assist Trophies are revealed to us.
   • Mimikyu and Lycanroc (all three of its forms) are revealed to be part of the Poke Ball Pokemon line-up.
   • Birdo gets confirmed to be one of the new Assist Trophies, and Isabelle keeps her Assist Trophy status.

Sadly, the Nintendo Direct will be airing during my volunteer time, so I won't be able to see the live broadcast.

As long as you don't spoil the reveal before the Direct even starts your all good. I'm going to remove the Spoiler-free tag as soon as the Direct starts.

I dropped off the internet the second I heard there was some 'massive' leak. Doesn't help that some threads seem to have the spoilers, or at least reference it, in the thread title.

My realistic prediction as far as character reveals go is one unique newcomer and one 'Echo' clone. Of course, I'm going in expecting far worse. Helps me from being too disappointed.

Yet another Fire Emblem character, another 3rd Party, or a Gen VII Pokemon that proves Vergeben right would all be pretty big turn-offs.

Yeah, first Direct since I'm in Smashboards. I hope at least two characters, one big reveal and a lower profile. Let's see if they can charm me, the KONG's option don't seem so clear for today.
The worst part would be the ATs, some high requested characters will fall, Waluigi can't be the only one.
The rest, I'm hoping for game modes info, specially Classic Mode.

Just a quick reminder about civility and gloating; Please don't gloat. The reality is, some people's most wanted will get disconfirmed. That doesn't mean to gloat about it. This creates turmoil.
