Probably not. F-Zero hasn't had a new installment since 2004 and, at this point, the only thing that's really keeping Captain Falcon in Smash is the fact that he's been one of Smash's most iconic characters for nearly 15 years.

I saw plenty of Meta Knight in Project M matches, and while his Project M appearance could scrape his Brawl appearance (well, like anyone), he definitely is not broken. I don't think there is any indication that Meta Knight is the best character in Project M to date. Because of that, and because he won't win over 50% of the tournaments, this point is merely a hyperbolic statement.
