...Wow the one day I was lax on checking the update. Sakurai shows a veteran. GOOD GAME ME. Anyways yay, Oilmar is looking good! Didn't use him much, not my style really but I'm glad for the Pikmin fans out there, while I like the series somewhat. I'm not an overly huge fan. But as I said, i'm glad to see him again.

Can't believe I didn't notice this already, but look at how much the Pikmin have improved since Brawl. They aren't nearly as low-poly as before. So pretty.

My only problem is the White Pikmin. It appears to be around the same size as the Red, Yellow and Blue Pikmin. In Pikmin 2 and Brawl the whites are smaller.

Nice to see Olimar back as well as a new Pikmin 3 stage.

Seems that it was done in promotion of Pikmin 3's Japanese release. Cool.

Did anybody else catch the Pikmin 3 link on the Pikmin & Olimar stage=??? Nintendo is totally using character reveals to hype up their games!

Also, the Smash Dojo layout is starting to get more layers, which I am obviously loving.

I wasn't expecting Olimar so early.

Wait... Does this mean that the technical problems in the 3DS version might have been fixed? Since Olimar will be in the 3DS version, and can keep Pikmin behind him...?

None of those pictures were from Smash 3DS, so who knows. We also don't have a picture of the Wii Fit Trainer on Smash 3DS, either.

I certainly would like to see videos for veterans that are gonna have changed move sets.

-Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Diddy could be shown, or a Dixie/K. Rool reveal)
-Zelda: the Wind Waker HD (Zelda, Sheik, Ganondorf, or Young/Toon Link)
-Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (same)
-Yoshi's New Island (that would be a good Yoshi reveal date, actually)
-The Fire Emblem crossover (Marth, Ike, Roy, Chrom)
-The EarthBound Virtual Console release date in North American and Europe (Ness or Lucas)
Sonic: Lost World (Sonic)
and of course...
-Pokémon X&Y (Jigglypuff, Lucario, the Pokémon Trainer, Mewtwo, or a new playable Pokémon)

All slated for this year I believe.

MGS V: The Phantom Pain is also slated to be released next year on top of that.

IIRC he was also called Pikmin & Olimar on the Brawl DOJO as well, so this isn't that surprising.

But in the actual game Brawl they were only referred to as "Pikmin & Olimar" in Japan if I remember correctly.

Well guys, that was the 10th veteran confirmed and the 10th character playable in Brawl confirmed.
That means:
-We got 29 unconfirmed Brawl playable characters (transformations included).
-We got 33 (34 if you count Toon Link and Young Link as separate) previously playable characters unconfirmed.
-We got 13 characters confirmed thus far, with 3 newcomers.

I think people are getting a bit ahead of themselves predicting future reveals (the only ones I could maybe see happening this year are Peach for Super Mario 3D World, and Diddy for DKCTF), but I guess it's better than what we were going on before.

Yeah you're right, I was only saying there's nothing to really indicate this will be any different from last time, as he had the same name in the English DOJO as he does this time as well.
