That might explain why I like it. ._.Listen to the **** that chick is whispering in Amy's theme.
It's positively rapey.
It wasn't so much a single event as it was a combination of my sob-story-upbringing (coupled with losing faith in many things long before Smash came into the picture) and the fact that despite enjoying Brawl to no end, I set myself up for extreme disappointment (half of it not even having to do with the game itself, just with events surrounding the time) the likes of which I had never seen. Since then it just kinda became who I am. Not necessarily being negative, but just not getting my hopes up for anything, ever. The rest is just me being in character. Coupled with the weekly wangst/heartbreak I've been having nonstop. Every time I think I'll come out of the funk, I just settle back in.Hehe. I remember our first discussion, where you stated that you won't have any good hopes for Smash 4 because you are a pessimist. This question may open doors upon doors, but I'm interested... What exactly made you pessimistic?
tl;dr, this.
My nephew succumbed to this at only age 6, if it makes you feel any better. Granted he's not as bad as my 13-year old cousins. You have no idea how much my little brother suffered because of this. He's a 9 year old boy who initially grew up with Nintendo. You should have seen how much he loved Mario 64, he played it hours upon hours upon hours. Now that his friend have talked him into CoD. I feel sorry for him now... Entering a room with a bunch of 9 year old playing CoD screaming words like Yolo and saying horrific words like "You D!ck" or "That's BS". My kid brother still plays Brawl from time to time, but his friends got the best of him.
Also given, COD is only half of his ship. He and I prefer to play Third-Person-Shooters together. His dad's been letting him watch/read/play things like Punisher, Gears of War, horror movies and the like since he could talk.
