So, new Pokémon were revealed?

Like Pancham's evo. Super badass AND adds Dark-type. Fighting/Dark isn't a bad type combo at all.
The squids are awesome and have a unique typing. Not bad.
Yveltal being Dark/Flying already settles which version I choose: Y. I already liked his design better than Xerneas, so I already decided on picking up Pokémon Y.

As for today's SSB4 picture... It's cool, but a little boring.

Yveltal's typing is boring to me. I wish it had a new type (Sound/Light/Magic,etc) or new type combination. I think It deserves better than Dark/Flying.

Its head reminds me of Mandibuzz and its typing reminds me of it even more. XD

The inside of Megaman's blaster is just...unff. Anyways, the new Pokemon look pretty cool, a lot of good new type combinations. Definitely won't miss Gen 6 like I missed Gen 5.

I looked at the new Pokemon page on Serebii and noticed that Talonflame is known as the "Deterioration Pokemon".

That sounds depressing.

What, is it gonna burn away to ashes when it evolves and turn into some kind of phoenix?

EDIT: Apparently, that's the Japanese title. The English title is "Raging Flame Pokemon".

Only thing about the Other M redesign speculation is that Zamus in Other M looks pretty much exactly the same as the Zero Mission/Brawl Zamus design

The short-haired Samus being the new Zamus wouldn't make sense because that's before she's a legitimate warrior

There's more differences than just the holster for the Paralyzer (even more if they consider going the "Brawl Fox" route, and make her not hold it all the time/only pull it out for moves/taunts). Not to mention that apart from the suit, her Zero Mission, Brawl and Other M model designs are all vastly different (again, beauty mark says hi).

As for the "Young Samus not being a true warrior" thing, I understand not everyone has read the manga/source materials (Samus trained with the Chozo before enlisting in the academy, not to mention the fact that she kind of became a "true warrior" the moment Ridley killed her parents/she was infused with Chozo blood) and they have their preferences, but I don't see the harm at all in her having a civilian clothing alternate costume. (Justin Bailey, if nothing else)
