I would rather have Adventure Mode 2 than SSE 2.
If Adventure Mode had character specific run through, that would be pretty ideal for me.

Example:
Let's say you pick Mario, he first starts off in a Mario themed level → Yoshi themed level → Kirby themed level → Donkey Kong themed level.
(Each of these environments will be different, the Mario themed level could be a typical Super Mario Bros platformer level, where the Yoshi themed level could be a race to the finish)
While Link on the the other hand, would have a Zelda themed level → Animal Crossing themed level → F-Zero themed level → Pokemon themed level.
(Of course there will be Wire-frame/polygon battles and Vs matches in between these events and possibly a free-4-all or a Rival Battle at the end before you fight the Master Hand.)

So each character you play through Adventure Mode with will have a different play through of franchise specific obstetrical and environments.
Of course there is only so many series that Nintendo has, so they'll obviously have to mix and match these franchise themed levels for different characters.

If the character specific Adventure run throughs are too much, they can just have a randomized selection of themed levels so that each run through as the possibility of being different.

Thoughts?
Any idea where the levels/story is different for each character is fine by me.

That's all I want from adventure mode along with good usage of Nintendo content. (something the SSE was seriously lacking in)

Speaking of core:
This is one of the things I praise about Nintendo Land and I don't think it gets enough credit for. It has a lot of objectives in it that are goofy hard that can only be accomplished through days of trial and error, ultimately making the game one of the hardest Nintendo has released since the NES days.

Ah nintendo land... I think it's fun when I have a group of friends to play it with me but otherwise it's meh XD

I'm in the process of trying to beat all the stages and get all the stamps. The only game in it that I outright don't like is Yoshi's Fruit Cart so I'm groaning on the inside thinking about completely finishing it.

I would love this. It'd actually make me want to play with every character, even if I get nothing from doing so.

I mostly play the Pikmin and Metroid games when playing Single Player Nintendo Land.

Particularly Pikmin because it's helping me get pumped for Pikmin 3, as well holding in my excitement at the same time.

Apparently Nintendo was originally wanting to shut down the whole EVENT for Melee at EVO, not just the stream.

Still extremely curious what made Nintendo make a complete 180° on their decision of the cease & desist within only 5 hours.
I think someone already beat you to this post last night. (I forgot who it was, but someone already posted it)

EDIT: And what do you know, Toaster just beat me to informing you of this. Go figure. lol

I don't usually play Nintendo Land, but when I did the only games I bothered with(on my own) were Balloon Trip, Metroid, and Pikmin. Tried some of the others but never could get into them. Had a crapton of fun playing Metroid Blast with my sister.

The problem was simple; Nintendo thought that it was a for profit event and they didn't want someone making money off of their game. It's like my Mom says, 80% of the problems you'll run into in life are caused by bad communication and misunderstandings.

I'll have to try Octopus Dance again sometime (it's been a while since I played, how is it played again?)

I actually haven't tried much of it yet, I can't play Mario chase or Luigi's Ghost Mansion (which stinks cause Luigi's Mansion is one of my favorite games ever) in single player, and the only other thing I tried is the Zelda game, and my Wii U pad won't line up properly for it.

That sounds more like they simply had no idea about these sorts of tournaments then.

Those two and the animal crossing game can only be played in multiplayer

The Donkey Kong wasn't hard as people made it out to be. I was stuck at area 9 the first few times but it became really easy to get around after a little bit. I think the furthest I made it was Board 3 section 10. SOon after i made it there College started getting tougher and I just stopped playing for a while. I also really loved Metroid and Zelda. Thems was my games.

Speaking of Metroid, Kraid needs to be a boss, or at least as a stage element again in Smash 4. The poor guy hasn't had a true apperance since Metroid: Zero Mission.

I know Planet Zebes blew up, but that didn't stop Ridley from coming back. (it was a clone, but still)
I'm sure they could find a way for Kraid to return.

I finally found the mary janes at Kicks. Life is complete. Or at least my outfit.
Have you gotten the DLC furniture, too? I got raccoon wall clock, rainbow screen, and palm tree lamp. I am going to a local Best Buy store that is actually participating to get my cat tower later or tomorrow morning. :awesome:

Good news: I found Brawl.
Bad news: I'm playing project M and I'm absolutely terrible against level 9's. :C ugh. Must be rusty.
