It's not elusive at all, it's a waist:hip ratio, some studies suggest it's 3:5, others 7:10. Really, it's the only proven universal form of physical attraction from male to female.
Waist:hip ratio is also a very, very, very, very good indicator for general body health. Men should be at around .9 and women around .7 or 3:5 as I have said.

Depends how you define epic.

Cutscenes? Huge amount of gameplay? I can recommend based upon your criteria.
I'd say storyline. I just bought Virtue's last rewards, it's awesome so far. I like the idea of creating multiple endings which can be individually reached due to your choice in game. There are twenty-four different endings in VLR.

And yeah anime sucks.
I'm not really into anime, but I'm aware that the most popular anime shows have poor writing and pacing, while they skimp on fantastic animation, but that's till a harsh generalization to make. There are some very exceptional anime shows out there.

Ah, okay. No suggestions from me, then. Maybe one of the later Zelda games. *shrug*

Yeah I know. I was just being an asshole is all. There are some really good ones. Personally, I liked DBZ, Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop. At the same time, I don't look at DBZ as anime anymore, rather it's just that awesome times show that you grew up with. I'm just kind of over the whole anime thing, though. I'd rather just chill on Tom and Jerry and Looney Toons.

I liked VLR until after I got like 10 endings. Then I had to sit through some serious story grinding and many uneventful endings just to try and unlock everything, and it felt like a chore.
I ended up trading it with my friend for Dream Drop Distance.

Well I played a lot of Zelda games. However I only finished two Zelda games completely, which are Phantom Hourglass and Ocarina of Time. I really like Zelda games but sometimes the solution to the trick are way to stupid and require so much time/luck. An example would be OoT's two spiked wooden walls' room in the Shadow temple, I spent an hour trying to think of a solution to get the item in the chest without being crushed by the spiked wooden walls, and there was no solution. I randomly used Din's fire (which is a magical attribute you optionally gain) and burned the two wooden walls. That was so random and so time consuming that it made me laugh and hate my life at the same time :chuckle:. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Zelda fan, but I can't just focus down and finish Zelda games constantly. It's just too time consuming and frustrating sometimes. The next Zelda game I'm planning to focus down and finish is the HD remake of Wind Waker. I'm currently not planning on playing any other Zelda games before that.

If that's how you feel, you should try out the 2D games; they're far less time-consuming and much more straightforward, with brilliant level design and provide a challenge that's just as (if not more) rewarding that a lot of the 3D games <(this statement does NOT refer to the NES titles)

Link's Awakening and the Oracle games are my personal favorites, and a Link to the Past is great. Minish Cap is the worst of the bunch, but it's still really good.

I'm currently playing, for fun though, Link and the Four-swords with my friends. It's enjoyable and competitive. Man, I wish all Zelda games were multiplayer games, or at least has the option of playing it with more than a person :ohwell:

Well, although I really like that game, it's not really a good representation of what single-player 2D Zelda games are like at all.

And, the single-player 2D Zelda games are definitely engaging enough for you to not mind playing by yourself.

Try Twilight Princess. It's a very slow-paced game with a very huge storyline. Link even has a love interest, and Epona actually is more than just a vehicle. There's actual importance of her in the storyline for once.

It takes a while to get a sword. I'd suggest the GameCube version since it controls better. Wii version tends to be a little iffy for some people.

I'm actually hoping the HD Wind Waker will be a bit more difficult puzzle wise. Most Zelda fans have agreed (including me) that Wind Waker's puzzles were much easier than other games. I'm not holding my breath for new content though. Wind Waker is however one of the hardest Zeldas to complete 100%.

Of course when I was younger it was harder, but now that I'm older I can figure out puzzles in Zelda games with much more ease, and I can remeber the solutions to a majority of the puzzles in most of the games.

Except for pretty much all water dungeons. And a few others, like the last dungeon in Skyward Sword.

I didn't mean it the Brawl way (I should have developed a bit more).
I meant it the way some people were saying a few pages ago:the "newcomer" steals an already existing moveset so that the veteran can be cut. It's not adding anything,it's just changing what it looks like.
Oh, you mean like how Young Link became Toon Link?

Really? I died when I went into that room the first time. I immediately felt stupid for not using Din's Fire. That could just be me though.

I did actually buy the Gamecube version of TP on release. Stopped playing halfway through the Water temple (No wonder ). I did like it and I would love to continue playing, but it was such a long time ago and I lost my memory card. To be honest it's not worth repeating all over again, or am I wrong? ;)

So if you'd choose to place an award on the hardest Zelda dungeon there is, what would it be? In my opinion it was TP's Water temple, that place was just sick...

It would be a tie between Ocarina and TP's Water temples, maybe a third tie with...do you know what the final dungeon in Skyward Sword is like?

The idea of using a magical power which is acquired through an optional quest (side quest) to solve an important mystery in a main story Temple seemed a bit irrational in my opinion. I mean I felt that I should use Din's fire and I did in the end, but let's say that I didn't acquire Din's fire from the beginning of the game? What am I supposed to do then? :chuckle:

I'd say it's worth repeating. The game is just plain fun. Beat the Water Dungeon, and you'll notice a change in storyline. That part is a turn-off for some people. It's also a major plot point.

Anyway, if you can find a cheap memory card, you should finish the game.

Din's Fire was optional? Man it has been a while. I thought Din's Fire was mandatory. Do you get Fire Arrows at that point in the game? I can't even remember. I need to go re-play it again. It has been so long.

To be honest I'd also say Ocarina of Time's WT was as hard at TP's WT as well. But the reason that I placed TP's WT over OoT's WT is because I completed OoT's WT 5 months ago as opposed to the TP's WT which I finished around 65% of it 6 years ago. Meaning I was younger and lacked the mental ability that I have now to solve such puzzles. I started playing Skyward Sword and stopped when I found my bird (Winglof[t] was it called? I'm not really sure), and I stopped playing from there. I've entered the lazy mode where I don't really want to bother with Zelda games now, yet alone deal with the Wii motion plus. How would you rate Skyward Sword's last dungeon to the Water temple(s)?

The puzzle in the Shadow Temple needed Din's Fire to be solved, and the Fire Arrows can't be used. So technically it's not optional.

I'm pretty sure you outright require Din's Fire to open the Shadow Temple. I might be possible with Fire Arrows, but I don't know if it burns long enough.

The other time are definitely not needed, though. Recommended, yes.

Even Fire Arrows were optional, haha . They are acquired through a side quest where you'd aim for the sun in Lake Hylia and shoot it down with a regular arrow. I mean optional as in you have to find it yourself to continue the story, which is extremely difficult to find out if you missed it out from the beginning. Or as the casual Zelda players would say: "Google FTW!".

I honestly think OoT's was probably the hardest. Twilight Princess had an easy water temple in my opinion. Majora's Mask on the other hand? *Shiver

Ooof, that's a super tough question.

I personally would have to go with Link's Awakening.

For 3D games, I would go with Majora's Mask, because I honestly cannot choose between 2D and 3D, since they're so drastically different.

But yea, since I was talking about 2D Zelda games, you should go with Link's Awakening. If you're having a hard time with OoT, Majora's Mask won't be much different.

It's kind of like TP's Water Temple, given how you have to enter more rooms, BUT

Spoiler Alert:

The dungeon is a puzzle itself. In order to enter other rooms, you'll need to move the rooms around on a panel which the rooms are pictured on. There are little tabs which represent the doors, and therefore it's not possible to connect them all properly. There's multiple panels for this, and the room you are currently in cannot be moved. And this is what it looks like.

As if that wasn't enough, there is a very long battle sequence (3 seperate rooms) where you have to fight hordes of some of the strongest enemies in the game, and it makes use of almost every theme from the prievous dungeons in the game.

I'd say that's much worse than the staircase from TP's Water dungeon and the maze-like Water temple in OOT.

To be honest I do not want to play Major's Mask. Mainly because my friend suffered nightmares for months of a specific occurrence in MM, which I think is about a half-man half-monster creature who comes out of the closet and scares the living crap out of you. As his innocent daughter calmly says "It's okay, he's my dad.. Go home". I don't really know if my friend is overrating how scary that was, but he looked pretty freaked out even after the passage of years. I think Majora's Mask was rated as the scariest Zelda game?

I did complete OoT a couple of months ago. Why would you choose Link's Awakening though? What's so special about it? It's a gameboy game IIRC.

It had a pretty dark tone. I mean it shouldn't scare you if you are older than 8ish. It does have some more adult themes though. If you mean scared by the difficulty level? Oh heavens, yes! I am still shivering. I actually didn't beat it when I was a kid. I had to go back in order to even attempt it. That could just be me though.

I kinda wish Nintendo would make a new Zelda game similar to Paper Mario... with Paper Link and his partners who are a Stray Fairy, a Deku Scrub, a Goron, a Zora, a Skull Kid, a Poe, a Cucco, and a Tingle (there is a Tingle race according to Rosy Rupeeland). It would be fun to see many Zelda characters redesigned as Paper characters.

Wouldn't this be better?

I am still waiting on my Science Fiction shooter Legend of Zelda, the one where Zelda is really a prostitute and Link is a drug dealer. Never going to happen?
