I don't really mind Samurai Goroh as a character either. My only thing that keeps me away from him is that there are way too many characters in the series already that have a sword. Link, Marth, Roy, Ike, Toon Link, Young Link, Pit (not really a generic sword, a bow that splits into two swords), and Meta Knight. I think that is all of them.

As the owner of the Goroh thread, it makes me just plain annoyed seeing people say this seriously. It's an insult to both Goroh and Takamaru, seeing as they have very different sword styles (not to mention Takamaru's plethora of other weapons...)

If Ganondorf can be a clone of Captain Falcon, then its not impossible for Goroh to be have some of his moves from Takamaru. Honestly, I think fans of Goroh would rather him being a Wolf-version of Takamaru, than not in at all. Personally, I am not optimistic about Goroh (or a second F-Zero character in general).

People seem to misinterpret what I say a lot. I have said its "possible" for Goroh to end up as some sort of deviatiation of Takamaru, not "likely".
