Oh yes, and speaking of Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, I will say that this would be a golden opportunity to better versatile the Lords of the series. If there is one problem with these Lords is that a lot of them are very similar from the standpoint of gameplay.

Some of it is as you said Krystal fans who are bitter they included Wolf over her.

And Lucas just comes from what I believe is from lack of familiarity much like the people I see on some sites wishing they'd remove Fire Emblem from Smash all together.

For the sake of my argument I was assuming she was in BS and presuming she will be in SMTxFE

As I have pointed out numerous times, it is impossible to compare Anna in such backhanded ways to any other recurring character on such SHALLOW and VAPID terms. It is a severely flawed and stupid reason as to why many may choose to disregard her.

She definitely had low priority, but she does have a major niche with her moveset and is one of the original 12, so who knows. All I know is that she beat out Mewtwo twice for getting into a Smash game*.

*$5 says that given the time constraints and placement, it was directly Jigglypuff who beat out Mewtwo, not Lucario.

Yeah, Jigglypuff won't be cut. She might get updated and be as good as she was in 64/Melee. She was downgraded a bit in Brawl.

The only character that had a chance to be cut out of the original 12 was Ness in Melee for Lucas. But the staff outvoted Sakurai. Thus, instead, we got to keep him and got Lucas in Brawl.(there were other factors, like Mother 3's delay, but there was a vote according to the original article)

Normally nine seems like a lot, but it also seems to be the direction Sakurai is going in.

I think it's a possibility, but probably not a likely one. Especially if Sakurai wants to give her new Fairy moves.
