It's a shame we don't really have any French characters, because we do need more French maids on the roster. Mario and Luigi are Italian, Shulk and K. Rool are British, Pit and Palutena are Greek, and so on. If we had a French character, everything would be perfect.

Ah well, on the bright side Takamaru would make for a nice maid.

IF it's F-Xero, an F-Zero character is in.

IF Retro is making a new IP, the protagonist will be included.

IF the new trailer actually confirms rather than debunks any of the Nintendo rumors released so far (the rumors have mostly covered more than just the Smash franchise, and have braved to claim a lot of leaks in one go), I will eat a small, easily digestible hat. In small pieces, over the course of several months. But I will eat one.

I forgot about the Ice Climbers...

I mean they're dressed in parkas, there's polar bears walking around in the game, and Northern Lights on the the Summit stage. Like there's even seals as enemies in the Japanese version...but I won't go there.

But yeah, I always imagine them as Inuits...maybe idk. Their design actually reminds me of this show I used to watch as a kid:

Can you believe I got a mug as a gift with literally the same looking people on it as in the cartoon? Turns out that the cartoon's art style was inspired by the same artist who did my mug (we also have more mugs of his works. I do believe he does graphic art).

But anyway, I was really hoping for a F-Zero game for Wii (though I secretly had doubts). I'd be nice if we do get another F-Zero character...but I'm personally not expecting it.

Except games that will be confirmed now Sakurai has likely known about since last year. Meaning if we do get a new Starfox or F-Zero or something announced, it has a decent chance of effecting the roster. I wouldn't treat it like it's a guarantee as Zinfandel is, and if Retro is working on a new IP, I doubt the character will be playable, but a new Starfox/F-Zero/etc. announced next week would definitely help Krystal/Goroh/etc's chances.

Same here, in Jamaica when I got my SNES I thought I was 'hip', but when I came to the US 2 months after receiving my SNES my mind was blown to find the N64/PS1 and all these games. I think Bomberman64 was the first game I've ever n64 game I've played.

Here in Portugal, it's safe to say that Sony had (and still has) the most impact on the video game market. The Sony consoles are much more popular than the rest.

As of recent times, though, things have been changing a little. I kind of hated that when I was on 7th/8th grades, I was the only one with a GameCube and people claimed that PS2 was the best and Nintendo only had games 'for kids like Mario and Pokémon'.

Yeah, by the time I got my SNES I had already played Mario 64, Turok and a couple other games at other people's house.

When I got my 64 (actually my brother got it for his birthday) we didn't even have to buy games since the other kids would loan us their games (the barrio is cool like that) or they would just come over for some of that 4 player fun. I don't think we bought a game until Smash came out and that was because my neighbor wouldn't loan us his copy, lol.
