If Pokémon X and Y are storyline-heavy, I doubt they would spoil the story like that.

But you probably mean the Pokémon themselves. Or, the presentation could be more focused on new gameplay elements and features.

It's a shame we don't really have any French characters, because we do need more French maids on the roster. Mario and Luigi are Italian, Shulk and K. Rool are British, Pit and Palutena are Greek, and so on. If we had a French character, everything would be perfect.

Ah well, on the bright side Takamaru would make for a nice maid.

I meant actually the all gameplay elements that are new. I remember those nice times when I loved to discover all the stuff about PKMN on my own... especially the Hoenn-games. (-=v=-)

Now all be spoiled and that childhood's discovery and marvel will be gone in an instant. You get me?

Yes, I get it. You want to discover all the new elements by yourself. Well, that's not a bad thing at all.

One of the best experiences about new Pokemon games for me is going online and seeing the complete new generation of pokes and going through them one by one to see what they all are. It seems strange to say but it almost has a Christmas-y feel to it. Do any of you do this, or do you just dive into the game and discover the Pokemon as you meet them? Admittedly that sounds really fun. But I don't think I could help myself.

Anyways, given what I've said, I'd enjoy some new Pokemon being shown but I'm hoping, and thinking, it will be more game play focused.

I was in the musical "West Side Story" one years ago, as a Jet. During one of the stage fighting scenes, I fought a Chinese man who was playing as a Shark.
At each performance, after a short and elaborate fight sequence, I would get punched in the gut, I would stagger back, bending over, he stood mockingly. In a rage I would step forward, planting my foot, spinning, and bringing the other leg up before slamming it down and propelling myself into the sky, delivering an uppercut directly to his chin, knocking him out to the ground, I spun in the air, fist raised, yelling "SHORYUKEN!"

It was glorious.

I can't believe the stage director let me do that.

Lucas appeared to be overpowered when you had Smash balls. His PK thunder often got the Smash ball in 1 hit, even if the Smash was on the map for 6-7 seconds and no one touched it. I have a friend that camps and uses PK thunder to get the ball. His up smash is also brutal and very few characters when knocked in the air can dodge or injure Lucas before he hits it with them. (Game & Watch had a good counter to it, Mario can give him trouble sometimes too).
