Yeah, I guess it's not that big of an issue. If you can install your games though, this will prove to rather cumbersome. My 360 games take up around 7 to 8 gigs to install them. Of course, I usually use this feature for fighting games just to reduce the load times. I have yet to do it for a single player game.

I don't really play on installing games. It's nice to have the option, but the only time I'd be interested in installing physical games on to a game system is on a handheld, so I wouldn't have to carry every one of my games around with me.

My only problem with the Deluxe set is that you're only getting 32 gigs. I wanna say I got my 360 Elite for roughly the same price with 120 gigs.

And what's this about a Bayonetta 2?!
According to CNet's stats about Wii U, the 32GBs are SDD (Solid State Drive). So that makes it another story.

I'd like to see the profit margins on these bundles. Nintendo is not your typical "squeeze every last bit of profit out of a consumer base" company, so I'd hope they're not charging these prices just to make obscene amounts of money.

I do have confidence that I'm getting what I'm paying for at $350 with the Deluxe. Wii U is not "old tech," as much as narrative-fabricating cynics might like to say.

Either way, I wants me that Deluxe package. I am super bummed that Pikmin 3 might not make launch, but it's cool. I'll live on NintendoLand and NSMBU for awhile.

Speaking of NSMBU, it's looking sublime.

I can see them buying PG If The Wonderful 101 ends up being a success

:phone:
I would absolutely love this. Not for 101, but the fact that Nintendo would likely own Bayonetta in the process which means a definite Bayonetta for Smash, at least as DLC.

What a boring event. Nice to know the price, but it's not really worth it for over 300 bucks.

We still have no Smash and none of the other games. What about Retro. Where is Pikmin. I'm tired of Nintendo dragging their feet on this. I think I'm done with Smash talk. No point is talking about a game that barely even exist.

Also, Nintendo Land is kind of dumb. Good thing it's a bundle.

How much are the games? Any price on that? I was moving stuff while it was going on. I dont want Nintendo to start selling games for 60, Wii games made me happy with only 50 bucks a game.

Why are you upset at no SSB? There was not promise of SSB, and it hasn't been in development for very long. They're probably waiting for E3 to release footage or gameplay or anything like that. The other games showed off (Wonderful 101 in particular) looked great.

It would also be pretty hype to have Revengeance on the WiiU. Just sayin'.

O RLY? :troll:

Personally, I don't care about Bayonetta, but I do care about W101. Wonderful 101 Blue Guy for SSB4!

Also, if they do purchase Platinum, then I wonder if they'll get the to work on some of Nintendo's existing franchises.

You expected talk about Smash, at an online broadcast? That's E3 material, so you'll just have to wait and stop complaining. Because you're not getting your new Smash information until next the E3 kid.

What about Retro.
Also E3 next year, it's like you want to rush projects.

Where is Pikmin
Everyone already knows about Pikmin 3, why aren't you pleased that they announced something new. That was sorta the purpose of that broadcast.

The game is in freaking alpha/beta stages of development you......

Let's not get ahead of ourselves in speculation about acquisitions by Nintendo and stuff. Yes, Platinum has had a good working relationship with Nintendo, Bayonetta2 is now a WiiU exclusive and W101 is being worked on for Nintendo (2nd party kinda thing) but that does not mean that a purchase is in the works.

At any rate, I'd like to see Platinum's take on Star Fox. ****'s been stagnant for a while.

Yeah I agree, except for the dating and pricing, I rolled my eyes throughout the entire thing. Though personally I thought the $300-350 pricing sounded fair for a starting price.

Definitely is annoying that Nintendo is dragging their feet, but hey this kinda of thing happens all the time in the industry, it's nothing new. At least the launch titles are better than most previous Nintendo systems (only ones I would argue would be the SNES, maybe 64) and should keep our interest for a while. And to be fair to Smash, the game does technically exist in some form, but lets not get into specifics.

I don't know, it's definitely the next Wii Sports, but Nintendo Land looks interesting enough for a buy. From what I hear you have to try it first hand to get a feel for it.

Why are you saying Smash technically exists? Just because we're not seeing anything doesn't mean it's in a vague area or anything like that. Nintendo's been doing a strong policy, after all, to only show new games that are going to be out in a year. Realistically, that won't happen until some time next year.

Brawl was built up and had footage shown several years in advance(I think). That said, Brawl was heavily delayed, so I think that may have had something to do with that.

Of all the places to find bawing about Wii U pricing and launch lineup. For shame, SmashChu.

Launch lineup is exceptional, and price is fair. Already got mine preordered up.

Call me a stupid optimist, but I think NintendoLand is actually going to be a lot of fun. When you get to the point that you're rejecting game concepts that you don't know very much of anything about based on the learned cynicism of the industry, you might need to reevaluate your faith in game makers. Nintendo, nonetheless.

I'm talking to you, folks who reject NintendoLand because it looks "too casual," poke fun at Call of Duty because it's easy to snark at popularity, and otherwise pass your divine, ultimate judgment down on things you haven't even experienced or seen in full.

Everybody love everybody. And don't be silly.

There's no point in Nintendo throwing out all these unfinished projects right now. I agree, a teaser for another megaton first party title would've been great. But we didn't get one. It isn't the end of the effing world.

But yeah, Rayman Legends at launch is worth a million happy points.

I'm going to wait until next year to buy a WiiU, possibly after graduation. I want to finish school on good marks and hopefully some game prices will lower by then along with a larger selection. Regardless of length, though, Bayonetta 2 will be mine to keep. I'm not renting that game.

Frankly, I'm looking more towards New Super Mario Bros. U right now.
Personally, while I don't think NSBMU looks that bad, it looks more or less like jsut more of the same. Boost mode looks like an interesting addition, and I think the return of the SMW style interconnected overworld is cool, but there are more exciting launch games. You'd need to announce that there would be a level builder or that the game was going full-on Metroidvania to get me really excited.

You may have a point there, but at least New Super Mario Bros. U looks to be an improvement over New Super Mario Bros. 2's stale game play.

I doubt that would make Bayonetta "definite".

Oh dangit did I do that thing again where I clicked on the thread, was taken several pages back from the latest page, and ended up talking to something that was said a while back? GAH!~
