Lol I make up my own curse words too. one of my favorites is Spap. I don't know if it has any meaning at all, but it sure as hell sounds offensive.
Yeah, I forgot most of mine, but me and my classmates in one of my accounting classes last fall had a ton of them. We turned FOB (Free on Board) into Freaky Obscene Ballerina!!! :chuckle:
Iron Giant and
Rattata Ratata ............

THAT rat movie were amazing movies. I remember loving the animations in Iron Giant in particular
Yeah, Ratatouille is amazing. Really, that and any Pixar movie could use a sequel (except Cars, which got a sequel somehow anyways). All of the Pixar movies (sans Cars and maybe Cars 2) are amazing.

I try to keep my real life and online personas pretty close. I really hate putting on "acts" but the only exception is if there's an extreme reason to (which is basically hiding my identity for online games). Really, I try to be pretty chill and not too serious here and irl. So yeah, I try to keep my personality online and irl pretty close. *snuggles Roy plush*

Uhh, wait. What are we talking about?

In real life I'm pretty much the same except a lot more sarcastic. The matter in which I post is pretty evident of me. I'm online much more than I actually post on only chip in when I'm interested or feel I'm needed. In real life of I can I'll sit fairly quietly in a group just watching and listening with frequent quick bursts of activity. I'd be more sarcastic here if text couldn't be so easily misconstrued.

CGI everything is really annoying IMO. Especially since a lot of people aren't doing anything especially innovative with it. Take paper man for example that mixed 2D and 3D, I really liked that animation more so than the animation in Wreck it Ralph.

EDIT: To clarify, I mean everything theses days being CGI is annoying. Not if one piece uses exclusively CGI.
I'm pretty sarcastic too irl lol
No, i understand where your coming from. Since i am animator i am more into the animations of CGI movies and model design of the characters.
Side note: Did you know that The Amazing Spiderman was almost entirely done in CGI? Heck even most car commercials are completely done in CGI. The only thing real about them is the people.

I'm concentrating in animation, which is pretty much a minor, and I'm taking intro to 3D animation next semester so I can definitely appreciate the animations and models. I even began teaching myself 3D modeling this year and tomorrow and Friday I'm going to a 3D printer building workshop, **** yeah seaking! (Sorry I had too =p). As an art medium, I absolutely love it. But I'm getting bored with how so many people and groups and companies are taking the same tried and true style and reapplying it to separate projects. Frankly it's boring. At least in 2D individual styles are much more apparent. And yeah, a lot of people don't realize we can CGI hyper realistically and so, so often.

How if Ridley isn't playable in Smash Wii U and Smash 3DS, Sakurai will die at the hands of THE GREAT OVERLORD RIDLEY!!!
Idk man. If Ridley doesn't lose some weight, things might not look too good for him. He should totally try out King K. Rool's workout (Seizure warning).

Though, there could be another solution to this. If they somehow create a Poison Mushroom that has a permanent shrink effect, it just might work actually.

I don't think any of us are going to care enough to be putting up "personas". And if a person was, they probably wouldn't admit to it.

DO YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME UNDER MY SUN=???
BECAUSE FROM WHERE I'M FROM, I'M CALLED "THE GREAT ONE!!!!"

BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GO ON ONE ON ONE
I WILL FINISH YOU BEFORE YOU REALIZE THIS MATCH IS DONE
AND YOU WILL REALIZE THAT YOUR CHANCES OF VICTORY WERE ALWAYS NONE!!!
You don't want to go back to fighting me
Even Goku has to step back from my chi!
If you come my way, you better know your role
For always

Pretty much. I also try to gauge how much crazies they can stand, and how much they like.
I'd be pretty open to it, I don't judge, I'd probably enjoy it. Just don't expect me to pick up much of what you're puttin' down.

Spoiler alert: No real ladies like Ghirahim. :p
Nah, nah, real ladies love them some Ghirahim.

Wait, you met your girl on HERE?

Holy **** man, that's crazy.
NOPE. It's pretty crazy how small the window was for our meeting. The Ridley fans here made their own forum on another site, a private one at that. HER SISTER was a member there, and invited my lady-to-be. She joined pretty much for SHIGGLES. I mean, we both love Smash, and though she's not exactly a Ridley FAN, she agrees he should be in. I DUNNO, just seems to be like a pretty specific set of events.

Don't think she was ever actually a member on SWF.

I'm glad my lady wants Ghirahim in Smash 4, thus validating her existence.

Yea they do have that distinct look don't they? lol. but then again even in the old 2D Disney movies they all had that same look. i guess they are trying to go for universal appeal.
What program do you plan on using? I've been using Maya for about 5 years. I know that is a standard for many movie and gaming studios. I know 3DS Max is pretty good too.

I'm taking a computer animation class next year at my high school. It should definitely help with my spriting desires.

I learned how to make simple 3D models so that I could create whatever papercrafts I wanted.

Instead I became satisfied with my power and never did anything with it.

I am the worst kind of person.

Flash. I'm good at making sprites, but not 3D models. :chuckle:
I'm the exact opposites. I'm straight booty with sprites lol! I wish i knew too, I would help making my mugen dreams come true. lol
Flash is legit though, pretty flexible.

Here is one I'm working on still got to work on blinking:

I would love to see some of your sprite designs.

Yeah I think the only reason why I'm harsher on on the current 3D rather than the old 2D Disney is because it's happening now. But I don't deny at all that it was the sane thing back then. But now we could put adventure time next to korra next to archer and see a world of difference and while that difference does exist in 3D animation too it's a lot harder to come by. I really want to use Maya because like you says it's pretty widely used and the people I know that have used like it a lot.

You can still model in those styles, like Adventure Time and Korra. it's just that it's pretty uncommon. The only two distint 3D styles i know are the typical Pixar look and the clay-mation look alike style. Have you seen the movie 9? That movie is pretty unique too. but yeah i think 2D is more expressive because it has been out there longer and is more accessible to the public for experimentation with styles. ;)

Don't you see more variance in art styles in video games than you do animation.
That is true. Borderlands and Kingdom Hearts are distinctly different in looks
<---- That's one of them.
How long did that take and what program use use to make them? beacuse laying down each pixel must be ridicouslous!

Not very long, and made in Paint. I didn't lay each bit pixel by pixel, I usually just merge sprites. :chuckle:
That said, I'm not the best, but Flash will help me further my goal a little.

Oh~! okay. So you pretty much just mixed and matched different Kirby sprites to make up new designs?
Yea, Flash is like an onion so many layers. and if your learning it early on in Highschool you'll have a leg up wherever you go.

Yeah. Fighter Kirby, Meta Knight, Animal Kirby, and Starship projectiles. Though I did have to recolor the Fighter Kirby sprites.

I found a pretty good Pokemon mash-up on my computer, but sadly, I don't think I can just copy-paste it. Oh well. :chuckle:

I thought maybe you were making a very Subtle jab at people who call themselves Spriters for editing Sonic Sprites or Something.

Haven't seen 9 yet but maybe I'll stream it this weekend legally of course . And yeah 3D is still fairly young I'm looking forward to seeing it be truly pushed.

I guess it's appropriate that one thing I'm actually Strong at is Spriting.
Calling your bluff. You stole your avi from poppy.

That's the best part of Kirby sprites. If you just make a recolor, then chances are that Hal's already made it into an unlockable. You have to get creative.

Now that you mention it, Spriters editing Sonic Sprites in a Superfluous Stupid way makes Sense and yet Sounds Silly. Smart analogy from the Strongest.
