Lucario's probably going to be cut simply because they'll want to show off someone from Gen 6 (almost guaranteed to be Mewtwo at this point).

I don't see Ness leaving because of Earthbound's long standing cult presence in both the East and West, further cemented by the confirmed Western re-release of Earthbound on the VC, as well as him being part of the original 12. Lucas could but I don't see that much of a point to it aside from freeing up more character spaces.

I've always seen Wolf as someone who was reasonably expendable simply because his moveset doesn't really contribute anything to the overall roster. I'd rather see Krystal with a 100% original moveset but I have no qualms with Wolf sticking around.

I seriously doubt Sonic's getting the cut especially with Nintendo's exclusive three game deal with SEGA/Sonic Team coming up. Not only that but angry mobs would probably burn NoJ HQ to the ground if this happened. :laugh:

Snake's probably out the door simply because he kind of snuck into Brawl to begin with and Sakurai seemed to strongly suggest that Snake was always intended to be a "guest" and not a permanent addition to the roster.

The only character I would add is Ike. I'd hate to see him go and I believe that Fire Emblem deserves at least three reps but I could easily see him getting cut for Chrom or "Marth" simply to represent the latest game in the franchise.

I still don't understand this thing with Megaman and Pac-man... And Paper Mario... Already enough I gotta hear a lot about Ridley, too. Now Palutena is a sure choice, with a small chance of Bowser Jr on the side is what I would have though. For me, I only have interest in Palutena and Jr. Small request, but risky... but each to their own, right?
Personally, Ness and Lucas should stay though. But I do hope Snake gets removed, him and his OP'd U-tilt.

Realistically, that roster needs Miis. (As much as I hate to say it)
And in light with SEGA showing Nintendo so much Sonic love, I doubt Sonic will be getting axed.
Other than that there are 1 or 2 character I personally wouldn't put in the roster,
but none the less it looks pretty solid. :chuckle:

Which is fine by me since I finish my classes at 2:15 PM that day and I've done my Maths exam today so I don't have to come to Maths lessons anymore (Good timing. :grin:). So I've got 45 minutes to get home (Which should be doable if the buses aren't being a pain in the ass)

I believe he was describing there that A Link to the Past 2 was getting some surprises in the game that players won't expect and that the same thing will be happening for Zelda U. I don't believe that's a confirmation that they will be showing the game this E3, plus they have got Wind Waker HD and ALTTP 2 to show off anyway so I'm not sure if they will be showing Zelda U this year. But hey, who knows I guess... (Besides Nintendo themselves)

Yeah, that's the tease, there's just no confirmation of it being at E3. From Aonuma at least. The writer of the article and the previous article this one links to just say they're expecting to see a tech demo and that fans hope to see from all three Zeldas in development. If it was confirmed to be at E3, you'd think they'd be stressing that point more, even putting it in their headlines.

Incidentally I'm eating popcorn for breakfast. This is reality.

Anyway, so I think that's 8AM for me? Central? Hard to believe that this time next week E3 will already be done with and we will be out of pants.

The most I see happening is 1 or 2 screenshots/concept art like they teased with WindwakerHD and Skyward Sword

I suppose that can very well be the case, side effects of getting too excited.
The "We'll introduce" part got me more hype than anything.
I wasn't too concerned about what the 2 authors were expecting in the articles, I think I am more concerned,
with Aonuma's quote and the context it was brought up in the EDGE magazine.
