Every single new restriction is based on a legitimate problem the old thread was composed of. None of them are extraneous, and none of them are negotiable.

The old thread was given warning after warning to amend its behaviour with little resulting improvement. This is the result. There are worse things in the world than being limited to the actual topic of the thread.

Some things just don't add to the conversation.
I still don't understand what everyone here considers "flaming" though, all I know is that I don't do it.
I always view it as a less-than-civilized debate.

Well, Saturn being banned should help things to calm down anyway. He was at least 50% the reason the RPDT was in such chaotic state in the first place. The remaining 50% was the likes of DivineDeity and other such troublemakers. You know who I may be referring to...

It's not that I'm on full against the RPD. It's just that it's so tempting. Harley Quinn mod or not,it was made for this. I was trying to say that reading that make it seem like it's bad even to bend the rules.
This is our new home. We're literally 200 pages away to getting back to where we were. We can use the RPD for when we want to talk nothing but the roster.

Debate is ok and encouraged and something I don't consider flaming but flaming is not and is considered a forum-wide offense.
