That's definitely the best design of the Ray Gun. Make the older designs somewhat "bleh". But why is the Smash logo on the ray gun backwards? (Nevermind the last sentence as I need to learn how to read).

A lot of characters look different. Mario isn'the only one.

Nd its not that much of a difference either.

I'm probably one of the 4 people who actually likes how he looks in Brawl. I think he looks determined which I think suits the character well. In the comics/manga and cartoons, he's usually depicted as a no nonsense character with a clear sense of direction and leadership and think his Brawl appearance is a clear reflection of that.
