So...I guess Sakurai is putting in alternate costumes after all? Or is it just for Wario and WFT?

Well there you go folks. Confirmation of alternate costumes (at least for WFT so far, but they'll probably at least give Villager the same M/F option and at LEAST keep Wario's classic outfit). What a fitting update for Halloween.

So far, it's just WFT confirmed in For. Wario probably will have both, though. No idea for any others. Possibly Villager as well?

I'd imagine Villager and Pokemon Trainer would be good candidates.

Not sure who else could do it though...

So the male WFT actually did get in.

A costume swap I'm sure (and in this case also gender swap) makes sense to show a costume update on Halloween. (though Sakurai said it ws for the release of Wii FIt U's trial version)

I'm fully confident we'll be getting the female Villager thanks to this update.

It's probably just a costume. Sure, Sakurai has given us a treat like this, but for those who think it's a separate character, it's probably just a trick. So he probably is Trick and Treating us.

I know I'm asking too much with this, but it would be awesome if one of the ways that the 3DS works with the Wii U is that the X/Y trainers are in both versions of Smash 4 and you can sync the saved data of your game with them to make it so they look however you have them customized in the games.

Again, asking for too much, but GOD would I love that. <3
