Song downloaded! Perfect for Metal Cavern.
I have it on Port Town Aero Dive, just because it fits there so perfectly, although it fit Metal Cavern very well as well. I'm still waiting for someone to mod Port Town Aero Dive to where it's just the platform and a moving background (you can't interact with) and nothing more.

So what BRSTM do you recommend then? Brawl Vault is cool and all, but I wonder if they'll have all the songs I wanna put in, especially since I like adding obsucure remixes of songs.

According to Corph and Chrono, yes that's the case. But since those debates were basically bashing your head against a brick wall, I don't know if bashing your head the hardest is considered "winning".

But seriously, Fire Emblem has some great sword-users who could be very good characters in smash, like Marth and Ike. Roy and Chrom (the two leading Fire Emblem candidates) have so much potential for greatness, it's ridiculous. Still, that doesn't mean either of them will be playable, given how Ike and Marth look like locks for Smash WiiU and 3DS.

Agreed, I certainly don't see why Chrom gets the amount of hate he gets. I find him the most interting lord since FE7. Hell, Awakening's my favorite Fire Emblem since FE7.

Chrom could definitely be a unique Character.

I have it on Port Town Aero Dive, just because it fits there so perfectly, although it fit Metal Cavern very well as well. I'm still waiting for someone to mod Port Town Aero Dive to where it's just the platform and a moving background (you can't interact with) and nothing more.

Then simply expand the Fire Emblem series with more content like trophies and stickers, if it bothers you so much. It's not that hard, you don't need to force new characters that we don't want to represent jack.

The thing is smash isn't about representation with characters, but who makes you want to play the game the most.

Krom and Roy certainly are more appealing as playable characters (in terms of moveset) then say Samurai Goroh (who I like much more as a character than either of them).

Well I didn't really mean playable characters particularly when speaking about representation: I guess trophies would suffice, but I never truly had any clue what FE was about until I actually played the games themselves. Something feels like that SSB hasn't included much of the major elements from the series (aside from stage elements and handful of trophies, also load and load of stickers?).

I mean I'd wish for an FE-item and maybe more character archetypes shown in the stages or in some other form (mages, pegasusknights, cavaliers etc). Okay, that's asking too much, I guess?

But you get what I mean when I think SSB hadn't really helped me get any clue about what FE is like. SSB kinda just told me it has Marth, Ike and Roy... and pretty much that's it. Nothing more.

Trophies didn't really help either as they were out of reach for anyone else than FE-fans even if most of them were from Tellius-games, too.

So yeah, just bit more representation that tells me that the crowd outside from FE gets some clue of what FE is about and what made it such a great series to be represented and reimagined in Smash.

If I remember correctly, most of the character, enemy, locations etc trophies in Brawl were taken from many Gamecube and Wii games which neglected all the other stuff that never appeared on the Gamecube and Wii before. I hope they do it more like Melee with the trophies this time around.

And yeah, they should put some more Fire Emblem based items, as well as more items from other series too.(even if tourney players are never going to use them anyway.)

Metal: Pretty much. FE isn't really captured that well in SSB when you look how people unknown to it and being introduced to it by Smash act like ("IS LIEK MARTH OR ROY IN THIS GAME" or other ****.). This also made me get pretty sceptic and confused about it after hearing it's a strategy game... which made me then avoid trying the series until fully last year. And when I mention how much I missed when it comes to learn what FE was about after being introduced from SSB, I MEAN A LOT.


Roy got the Ph1e3 from Ninian because she's a half-dragon.

Just do what Bioware does with Commander Shepard and have one canon design for each gender, and then maybe have a way to pick between genders(or just pick a canon gender).

I actually had a FE item idea where there are Tomes that can be picked up. There's different books, and each one casts different elemental attacks. After a certain amount of uses, the book "breaks" and disappears. Dunno really...but I'd love to see FE items.

To be fair, FE isn't the biggest or most known series around, and considering half of the series is Japanese only, it's probably a bit iffy for them to include everything. Brawl, however, definitely was a step in a the right direction, adding a stage, trophies, music, stickers, etc.

But with FE13 being the first title in the mainstream market that ironically introduces people to the history of the series, as well as FE10/11/12 to draw from, it's a good bet we'll be seeing a lot more representation this time around. Wouldn't say to the extent that we'd be seeing Alm & Cellica trophies, but it's a start.

I think the Levin Sword would make a good item. Maybe Vulneries or Elixirs could be items too. Though tomes would be awesome, and a good way to represent magic if no magic-wielding Lord gets in.

Chrom + Lucina is a programming nightmare that is never happening.

The ideal 4 slot is

Lyn

With Lucina as an Alt. Voice+Costume for Marth.


Lyn is the only intersting lord (combat-wise) with a decent shot.

Also, Future Johnknight1 wants me to inform Metal not to play with his sister's toys (they're like mini-Chuckie dolls), and for Horsetail to not eat the lemon... whatever that means...

Whoever said Dragons pass on their abilities/attributes through Genetics. Mythical creatures can work however they want, it's a fantasy.
