Do you guys think Wario stands a good chance at returning for Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS...?

Yes. The only franchise we could have ever lost was Ice Climber. And once Olimar was shown, it's very doubtful we'll lose that character. The only switcharounds that could happen are series with multiple characters(Except Mario and Donkey Kong, really, they're pretty safe with 4 and 2 specifically. Yoshi and Wario are also safe, being their own series).

I really want to see what the Wario content in Smash 4 will be.

Here are my hopes:

Wario having a rare gimmick that makes him change into the forms from the Wario Land games depending on what kind of attack he gets hit by. (Fire wario, Flat Wario, Frozen Wario, Shocked Wario, Spring Wario, etc.)

Oh, and when his shield breaks, he should turn into Crazy Wario. (I was opposed to Crazy Wario at first, but now I think it'd be hilarious. )

That said, and this is a quick transition from Wario, but... what do you guys think of F-Zero's fate in the Smash Bros series...? Most of the places in the series, including F-Zero's now famous renditions of Big Blue, Mute City and Port Town have been represented as a stage, as well as Captain Falcon becoming even bigger of a hit because of Smash Bros itself, but outside of that, what's been going on with F-Zero has been really quiet outside of Smash Bros. and Nintendo Land... what do you guys think they could do next for F-Zero in Smash Bros?

But of course. The gimmicks should influence the match a little, but not too much, or give an unfair advantage for or against Wario.

personally, I would like to see a non Mute City stage gimmick (and a not Big Blue stage >_>) Making a Mute City or Port Town Aero Drive is like making Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, we are getting Pokemon Stadium 3, i just know it.

Make a stage somewhat similar to Big Blue that zooms along the track with the cars, but with the camera facing forward, like in the F-Zero games.

Imagine this, but with the same amount of cars as in a grand prix race, and with some of the racers side by side on the X-Axis and some platforms above them.
Some of the cars will hit speed boosters and go forward into the background, making gaps between the cars. Falling onto the track causes an instant KO.

It'd be a pretty hectic and awesome looking stage, in the way I see it.

There could be another F-Zero stage that doesn't actually take place on any tracks or during a race, and the stage hazards could be something else.

As for characters, I'd like to see at least one newcomer for F-Zero, since Falcon has been by himself since the original SSB.

I read the article and I don't think he said anything that was that much of a stretch. The man does have freakishly high (arguably neurotic) standards for his games and it has been impressive with how successful he's been at cohesively mashing more than 30 years worth of a company's history into single games.
