Without Red and Blue, it has a slight chance. I remember a Pokemon fan-made fighting game. It may have all of those. I know Blaziken was in it, and Lucario, and Charizard. Blastoise may or may not have made it in.
Blastoise isn't in Type Wild if that's what you mean. But neither is Charizard. I think Charizard was SUPPOSED TO, but for some reason, it never happened.
I know there's a bigger one out there with more characters, though. Also, wow, that's a fairly bad list. Two starters from the same line? Lame. Also, lol at Ditto. At least he was the actual random icon in Melee. XD
Well, Combusken is supposed to be May's as its Assists are Skitty, Beautifly, and a third that I don't remember(even though it eventually evolved anyway), while Blaziken is there because Blaziken. And the game is actually pretty fun; all of the fighters have their interesting points. And hey, any fighter that makes Swalot viable is pretty impressive to me.
Even though those two are also better choices overall than most of the current cast.
Breloom in Type: Wild sparked a certain support for a Smash Breloom, if only to see how his playstyle would translate to Smash.Type Wild would probably benefit a lot from adding characters as Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, Squirtle... Oh whoa that's basically all Pokémon who've ever been in Smash sans Pichu and Ivysaur (and Lucario, but he's already in).

Yeah, and Blaziken might have a "leg up" (sorry) against Breloom because Blaziken evolves from Torchic, 1 of 3 starting Pokemon from Gen III. It may also be possible that Blaziken has more fans than Breloom.
OMG... Yes! (I think it also goes double for Mario characters)
Or Rhyperior, everybody loves Rhyperior.
Or Omastar nobody loves omastar... *cries in a corner*
Keep in mind that Pokemon essentially has 6 reps with all of Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon. Legend of Zelda also has 5 when you include Sheik.
Magcargo > Omastar.

It wouldn't be a complete waste, it could have Classic Impa, OoT Impa, Fat Impa, the walking stick that looks like Impa, Tingle in Impa drag, CDi Impa, Impa cosplaying as Sheik, Impa covered in whipped cream, Toon Impa, Impa from the future, Dark Impa, and Beedle.Covering a whole page in Impa with roster makers is a waste of time man.

About time that little Kangaskhan got some attention. Probably won't have a role in Smash (maybe trophy at best) but cute and interesting nonetheless.

That's true you have a point on that, when considering character slots though its more of aesthetic look than anything when it comes down to it, Granted I would want more Zelda and Pokemon reps though just from looking at the roster without character shifts they would want it to look on par with Mario and not have it overshadow its flagship franchise.
Holy ****, the little thing in it's pouch is actually doing something? In before it's a new pre evolution with some convoluted way of evolving it and it has an alternate evolution line leading to Cubone and Marowak.
Well counting guys like Wario or Yoshi who were originally from Mario games it's not a huge problem.
Well, giving Mario a fifth character again would fix that.
Exactly and you can throw Donkey Kong in the mix as well since they were initially from the same franchise, though since everything is more spread out now and Wario and Yoshi have taken off as their own franchises as a result Mario only has 4 reps officially though technically its a lot more. As long as there is no oversaturation from one franchise then it should be fine
No one should care about representation, but rather, having the best playable characters possible.
