I knew my opportunity to use this video I made would arise.
The amount of off topic is through the roof.

Wii Fit Trainer

Deep Breathing:
1.Wii Fit Trainer appears with a blue ring around her. A Red dot appears at one of the four corners of the screen. You control the red dot with the cursor, a press of A or B will negate the pose and move.

2. Move the red dot into the center of Wii Fit Trainer and hold still for a second. This instantly charges all of her smashes. The next time any Smash is used once, it will already be fully charged.

20 newcomers sounds better than a 20-character roster. If I could choose 20 newcomers for SSB4...

1. Toad
2. Dixie Kong
3. Impa
4. Ridley
5. Waddle Dee
6. Mewtwo
7. Chrom
8. Palutena
9. Villager
10. Wii Fit Trainer
11. Mii
12. Shulk
13. Dillon
14. Tingle (represents Tingle series, not Zelda series)
15. Little Mac
16. Takamaru
17. Duck Hunt Dog
18. Mega Man
19. Pac-Man
20. Simon Belmont

Alrighty then, topic starting powers, ACTIVATE!

Should Ganondorf keep Flame Choke or get a Side-Special?
I never liked the flame choke... The only thing it was really good for was Ganonciding... I want the side special to be replaced with ganon swiping his sword really really quickly. It would be his one quickest move and it would be great to increase his playability since he is such a slow character already. Like the speed of his side special would be the same as the speed of Ike's back aerial. Plus I'm probably not the only one that wants Ganon to pull out his awesome sword.

Not bad, not bad at all.

I wouldn't really consider Mewtwo a newcomer though, unless you're referring to it's new form.

But why should there be an additional action to make sure the move actually works? You have no reason not to move the dot into the center.

Just making it a quick power-up move is all that's necessary.

This might sound weird but...

I'd really love a stage with various properties/obstacles that makes it fun to practice DI and teching. Oh, and some luck factor for the teching. Um, I really don't know how to explain this but maybe something with a relatively high ceiling level, walls/low objects (so when you're blasted low enough to the ground, you can wall tech), maybe floating objects that appear randomly in the air (so you can tech if you're blasted high up), etc. dat tech chasing game potential.

I think I good example for me would be Poke Floats as if you're blasted, your trajectory can be stopped by a float or by teching. Though, I think stage is a bit extreme. Another example would be Green Greens. The blocks drop randomly, and a few times I have been saved from being KO'd by crashing into a higher falling block at the right time. And a few times I have teched on those falling blocks, being saved as well. I also like how the bombs makes things riskier. This is what I mean when I said "luck factor" for the teching properties.

I know a stage builder would probably be the best solution, but I'd like to see what they could come up with, y'know.

I'd also love a stage with weird/unique mechanics that the player really needs to understand in order to use it as an advantage. A good example would be Frigate Orpheon. I wasn't really fond of the stage in the beginning, however, once I took the time to learn how the stage works (the rotation mechanic, its spiking ability, bottom platform, etc), I began to like the stage. Now, I really like taking the time to learn how a stage works. You know how some people really get into the "rhythm" when fighting? Kinda like Marth with his fancy combos? Well, I feel the same way with stages. I really like getting into the rhythm of stages, especially the ones with unique mechanics. lol I'm sounding so trippy. When I fight, I like to try to become one with the stage's rhythm or beat; basically knowing what will happen next (hazard, mechanic, etc), always keeping on my toes (for example, chaotic stages like Poke Floats, Big Blue, etc) and adapt quickly in a given situation, trying to use every part of the stage to an advantage. Oh man, I hope I'm making sense lol.

This first part reminded me of a hypothetical Tetris stage, where you fight inside the high walls as giant tetrominoes fall onto the stage and fill it up. Is that kind of like what you're saying?

Also, Wormmon! :D

Because it is a fun mini-game. But holding it for a two seconds and having the red dot move on its own is fine.

In the heat of battle, do you really want to play a mini-game? This is not the place for that sort of thing. By the time you master it, it becomes a completely arbitrary skill barrier, like something else I know.

Mini games probably work best when two characters are pitted against each other. Like Bowser's flying slam.

*That is a fun mini-game in the heat of battle.

But Flying Slam (which is NOT a mini-game) doesn't require you to sit still and move something towards you while being bombarded by attacks.

I've pulled off Flying Slams in plenty of free-for-alls, but this doesn't sound usable. Even a level 1 CPU would run over and hit you, which I'm assuming ends the move abruptly?

I am not sure who you are arguing with Poppy. I conceded that moving the dot yourself is unnecessary. The best way is probably having it charge for the same amount as a smash or slightly longer, with the ability to roll out of it and store it like DK's punch.

Sorry, I didn't see that. My bad.

I think a store method like DK or Samus would be fine.

Kind of... except I was thinking of something more opened, but maybe with different terrain/platform levels? I don't even know how to explain it. But I wouldn't mind the Tetris stage; it sounds like a unique idea (or perhaps a Dr. Mario stage?).

And Wormmon is one of my fave Digimon lol. I'm actually re-watching Tamers and after I might re-watch Adventure 02. It's so nostalgic. *_*

I'm happy with Link's nerf in Brawl. My friend only played as Link, and he used to beat me a lot... with Link.
Well then get better at the game where you don't get killed by Link. Even in Melee Link isn't very useful; his offense is very limited, and if you space it right, you should win... unless you use a really bad character!
Lucario needs Bullet Punch in smash now (F+Air, or standing rapid jab would be cool)
Project M is proof that Sky Uppercut needs to be his up Smash.

Oh, and DAT SPIRIT BOMB and new down B are awesome. The side B is a major improvement as well.

I think a lot of characters in Project M are great. I love what was done with Wario, Ivysaur, Charizard, and Lucario.
