I look at other sites, and 90% of the posts complaining that a different character wasn't revealed, or that Luigi doesn't have his Poltergust.

Since we're on the topic. What is everyone's thoughts on the entire roster being playable from the start?

There's some merit to the idea. I understand the people who don't want to have to work to be able to play as their favourite character.

But on the other hand, having unlockables brings its own share of benefits. It encourages people to try the single player modes(rather than just skipping them and only playing the multiplayer). IMO it also helps new players a bit, since the initial choice of "OMG who do I pick" isn't as daunting. Also, at least in my experience, having to unlock characters made me more motivated to try out characters I probably wouldn't have otherwise looked into. Plus, I find unlocking things to be fun.

Yeah, but I think they changed his expressions on those poses to be more in line with his fearful expressions from the Luigi's Mansion games.

I dunno, I don't mind getting the obvious characters out of the way first as long as we get the occasional surprise, even just a new stage every once and a while. That way it'll be more interesting when we get to the time period when characters that are more up in the air and newcomers start getting confirmed more regularly.

Doubt it. The whole gimmick around the Green Missile was that it was suppose to be a 1/8th random occurrence.
