At last Luigi is revealed . I don't think another character will be revealed though. However, I wish they would reveal the official title of the game.

I can't believe Luigi was confirmed and I missed it, even though I jokefully threw out he would be confirmed this month. Oh well.

It seems my theory/theories that there won't be unlockable characters/less unlockable characters (mostly with veterans, specifically the ones that will be playable) might be true.

All the titles you mentioned is exactly the reason why Nintendo has to have Smash 4 (at least the Wii U version) ready for release for Q4 2014.

Nope, because Call of Booty, a GTA V WiiU port, and another title (whether Zelda or Metroid or something similarly as big) will likely carry the holiday season. Really, the season after winter is probably the most underrated season of all. Plus, all those games might "cancel" each other out, especially since there is an international recession.

Plus, unless Nintendo went stupid for the third straight time (first releasing the Wii U too early, second having no quality titles for it for about 10 months), they will have other titles then. Really though, I don't think 2015 will have many big budget or high quality games early on like this year has had.

I don't think the Wii U is going to get any big budget multi-platform games after 2013 as well. Though I suppose its possible Nintendo might convince Konami to make a Wii U port of MGS5 considering its a 2015 360/PS3 title.

Ummm... they still have the deal with SEGA, they still will likely get Dragon Quest, they still might get Kingdom Hearts III (which will be overrated to high hell), and they still kinda have Platinum Games

Anyways, I searched google and youtube regarding the Smash title and nothing said that "Super Smash Bros. for WiiU/3DS" is the legit title of Smash 4. Unless, of course, I am presented with some evidence that shows Sakurai confirming that there will be no other title like Brawl or Melee had.

Agree'd. Modding helped to make Skyrim loads better for me.Still haven''t touched Project M. waiting for Yoshi.

Modding is the reason I bought Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (along with the $5 sale on Steam). Without mods that game is "eh," mostly because glitches. With mods it is "WOW!!!!" Oh, but Skyrim mods are amazing. I still need to get the PC version of that. Also, how have you not touched Project M=???

We gotta joke about a diverse bunch of characters, specifically the veterans, in order for this to happen.

Project M is pretty much the only way to play Brawl.

Even though I don't like Brawl's gameplay, Balanced Brawl is okay. Brawl Minus and Plus are also pretty good.

Still, I am waiting for Project 64, just because Smash 64 had some super sexy combos.

Those are the confirmed titles; anyone saying otherwise is a moron.

that hypothesis of at least one character being revealed everyone month is starting to hold water.

Maybe we'll just get a veteran or two every month from here on out=??? We got 11 of the 39 Brawl characters confirmed. That means we have 28 yet to have been shown, not counting Melee cut characters. If these games come out in say November of August, that leaves us 17 months (not counting this months), so an average rate of about 3 or 4 weeks would make more sense... unless there are (what I consider inevitable) delays.

However, it makes me start to question if there will be unlockable characters at all in this game. Fighting games these days sometimes go for the route of having everyone right from the start, an example being Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Honestly, just having everyone unlocked at the beginning of the game would just be more convenient. Maybe have it to where you have to "unlock" them in single-player can be a thing, but for multiplayer, hidden characters just don't make any sense anymore.

If both games are released at different times, the later released game should at least get ride of the unlockables part for multiplayer purposes (sans added characters/DLC).

I wouldn't be surprised if we have more trailers along the way to release to do bulk reveals of characters. There's plenty of veterans as it is and there's no way to reveal all of them before release (let's assume it'll be out by next June).

I dunno, I don't mind getting the obvious characters out of the way first as long as we get the occasional surprise, even just a new stage every once and a while. That way it'll be more interesting when we get to the time period when characters that are more up in the air and newcomers start getting confirmed more regularly.

This is exactly what I wanted and predicted pre-the first trailer. I just want like 90% of the Brawl characters confirmed so people can shut the heck up, and so we can focus on the newcomers and get hyped for them around the release date (sans the initial reveals, some "mid way" reveals, and a few random reveals here and there).

Also, this makes me question if we'll see many randomly timed newcomer reveals, especially since there will inevitably be less newcomers this time around. After all, we won't get 17 [18 counting Toon Link] newcomers ever again. I must say we''ll be lucky if we get 12 while I'm at it.

I think a trailer around November showcasing a few newly revealed veterans (including Olimar and Luigi) is not something that is out of the question, especially since Nintendo REALLLLLY needs to step up their WiiU awareness campaigns and really their WiiU advertising campaigns as a whole. Their advertising has largely died for the console since like February, and with that, sales has plummeted.

At least with these character reveals, Sakurai and Nintendo have done a solid job at promoting said games.

Also, I would say that most likely we'll get a Pokémon confirmation around the date of X&Y's release date. I would say Jigglypuff in particular is very likely.

Until, Yoshi is added there really no reason for me to jump into it.
I mean yeah sure, I can mess around with the characters that are on the roster currently; but knowing me, if I jump into Project M I'm going to want to go all out and play it competitively...not doing that until I see Yoshi
I do however, watch a lot of Project M matches on Youtube, it's more of a spectator sport for me.
