You can use the option "Pay remainder using credit card" to pay the exact amount needed without having to use money in ten dollar intervals.

Well, it is partially Nintendo's fault for not making it the primary option for purchasing stuff on the eshop.
But, then again, they just do that so you end up spending more of your money on their games.

On the bright side, you can spend that remainder on a good SNES game.

Once I finish ALttP (just beat Skull Woods!) I'll probably play my copy of Earthbound. Tried to play it last summer but I got too busy and only got as far as the 2nd Song. I'd love to bring it with me to school in the fall, but I'm not going to risk it, or my player's guide, being stolen or getting scratched.

I'm way to used to speeding up the rom and grinding faster.

It takes a lot of time and work when you can't just speed up the game

The graphics and music are already as perfectly charming as they could get.

If they change any little thing, it would probably end up being slightly worse.

They should focus on making new games rather than remaking a game that didn't age a bit (*cough* Starfox 64 3DS*cough*)

Ridley might not be in story mode, but there's no telling there isn't a mode where you fight various nintendo specific NPCs.

K.K. Slider may appear depending on the stages. If the Old Smashville from Brawl is available, he might only be on there. Or he might be on any. Who knows?

For regular, I want Pierce. Because Pierce. I seem to get him in my playthroughs pretty often. And yeah, the poor cops are always split-up. It wasn't taken too well at all...

After looking at the city folk stage screenshot, I'm convinced that it's the same stage but the camera is so zoomed in that you don't see the actual stage (look how the scene is inclined in the pic) here's the other screenshot I checked:
