Yeah, but a yo-yo as a tether recovery weapon=???

I mean, the Home-Run Bat, a rope, or heck, the Eraser Pencil (aka a Pencil that erases giant erasers) would make more sense.
All of those as tether recoveries?

At least the yo-yo is flexible and can stretch out a good distance. The rope is the only one of those that makes more sense.

Alright, let's predict who will be the next character revealed for Smash 4. I think Marth will be revealed next.
I predict veterans will be revealed as games of their series are released. (like with Olimar and Pikmin 3)

Yoshi might be a different case though.

Marth, Luigi, Yoshi, or Peach are my guesses.

By the way, I want to say Ness is the only other character besides Bridget that uses yo-yos as a weapon in a fighting game. Only Bridget goes further by having all but a handful of attacks using one.

Show was just too good and full of potential until it got abruptly canceled - they had three episodes left for the second season that needed to be animated. Though I do think at times that some things went unexplained, but the ride was too enjoyable. Now it's making me want to take flying lessons one day.

Capt. Falcon would be an excellent choice to. Then again, he's always an excellent choice.

The yo-yo flexes, but honestly, THE PENCIL ERASES ERASERS!!!

But really, the rope is the only one that makes sense, along with maybe some sort of magical teleportation.

Haven't watched it, but every time I see Attack on Titan images, it makes me think of Smash. Guess it's the thicker outlines they use.

We find out an other Earthbound game is coming out and Ness gets a new move from said game. This is how he gets announced. Discuss.

For once I'd be more excited about the non-Smash aspects of this announcement. But only because I think we'd get Goku in Smash before we get another Earthbound game. :p

Or he doesn't get announced because he's an unlockable character and will be revealed after release.

Thanks, bros and sisses for the messages.

About the subject of the new Kid Icarus stage, do you think they'll have an Uprising stage on the Wii U for special reasons or have stage based on the NES game ( preferably the Underworld) to stick to the console based stages rule?

Most likely.

I saw an article (can't find it) saying that they have absolutely no plans at all of ever making another Earthbound/Mother.

How would you guys feel if Ness' PK Thunder took over the properties of Lucas' and he was able to use multiple without going helpless.
In return, Lucas gets PK Teleport, where he spins rapidly in the air and warps to wherever you aim with a mini explosion.

Or give Ness the Teleport and have Lucas keep PK Thunder with the added no-helpless state? I figure Ness should keep PK Thunder since he's used it in all three Smash games so far.

Oh, I forgot. Happy birthday, R.O.B.

So we'll never see Ness revealed then.

The story's done or something like that. Mother 3 was the intended ending. Of course, there's still a lot from MOTHER 1 that was never explained. For example, Giygas' home planet and the origin of PSI. I was hoping this was revealed with MOTHER 3, but that sadly never happened.

It's probably not that hard to find since people WON'T STOP ASKING ITOI ABOUT IT.
I don't blame them though, given the chance I'd ask him the same thing. Because I'm sure if just one more person asks him... he'll crack and we'll get Mother 4. ;):troll:

EDIT: I'm yet again too slow, but the point still stands.

OH and ROB happy bday! ^_^

I fail to understand why they stated it was impossible to create a sequel to a great game...
Probably philosophic reason. The series has wrapped itself up, with the varies conflicts patched up and such. Continuing would seem kind of forced.

How would you guys feel if this (F-Zero GX HD remake for Wii U) were to happen?

As a huge F-Zero fan who played the crap out of GX, I personally think it's kind of pointless. F-Zero GX is still a very gorgeous game and it's packed to the brim with content.
Plus, I'm sure they're going to rerelease it on the Wii U Virtual Console anyway.

I'd rather they just make another F-Zero.

Also, yea, I'd rather they just leave the Mother trilogy alone if they feel that it's done.
Forced sequels aren't worth it.

Never played any F-Zeros, but it is a series I'd like to try.

Like others said, the storyline is wrapped up.

If anything, perhaps there could be a prequel, to explain a few things that went...well unexplained.

Not to get off topic, but there were a lot of Disney sequels that did poorly and could've done so much bettter, the Lion King II in particular.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame II is different in my opinion though, the story should've ended after the first film.
