Lucas' was fine. Ness' distance needs to increase and not end early when he hits something.PK Thunder really needs a way (at least for Ness) to not be able to be "absorbed."
On top of that, PK Thunder for both Ness and Lucas should launch them like 2 times as far as they went in Brawl at the very least IMO.
OHHH YEAHHH!!!! GUESS WHO'S OPEN FOR MY BUSINESS AND WE WON'T GET ARRESTED OVER ANYMORE=???R.O.B I'm right behind you (kinda) lol I just turned 18 a few weeks ago

I kinda agree on Lucas'. As for Ness, I agree on that.Lucas' was fine. Ness' distance needs to increase and not end early when he hits something.
It's been a while since I tried Ness in Melee, but wasn't his recovery pretty bad in Melee too?PK Thunder really needs a way (at least for Ness) to not be able to be "absorbed."

Yes Ness' was turrible in that game too, and it was pretty bad in Smash 64 (although it actually helped you recover). It's been a while since I tried Ness in Melee, but wasn't his recovery pretty bad in Melee too?
Lucas's recovery was actually decent though.
Not to mention it could hit certain things and screw you up without any real input from the opponent. The Shy Guys on the Yoshi stages are infamous for that.Yes Ness' was turrible in that game too, and it was pretty bad in Smash 64 (although it actually helped you recover).
And Lucas' was saved by the tether grab. If the crew goes back to the Melee tether recovery system, really an upgrade for Lucas' recovery is not really needed.
Yep, which is why I've been suggesting Ness has infinite PK Thunder since like 2006!Not to mention it could hit certain things and screw you up without any real input from the opponent. The Shy Guys on the Yoshi stages are infamous for that.
You couldn't really edge hog a tether recovery (meaning hold onto the edge preventing them to grab it), and seeing as how most tether recovery characters are lower tier characters (Link, Young Link, Samus, etc), this helped them in Melee. In Brawl, this was also the case (sans Olimar), but because you could edge hog it easily, and also because they couldn't tether on the wall. How was Melee's tether recovery better though? I never was really able to figure it out properly in Melee.
Thing is, I have trouble trying to recover after grappling onto something, I don't know how to use it effectively.Yep, which is why I've been suggesting Ness has infinite PK Thunder since like 2006!
But no, Brawl had to make him weaker because of stuffs.

Would infinite PK thunders in the air really help? Anyone with a flexible projectile could still keep him at bay fairly easy. I kinda want his yo-yo to be made into a tether. That won't fix much but it'll help.I kinda agree on Lucas'. As for Ness, I agree on that.
I also think Ness should have more DI when he is in the vulnerable PK Thunder state, or that Ness should just be able to do infinite PK Thunders (in the air).
That would suck, because they'd have to run in order to do itPK Teleport please.

Zelda? That would suck, because they'd have to run in order to do it
Also it would be boring. Just disappearing then reappearing.
Exactly. Mewtwo and Zelda both already do thatZelda?![]()
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea, but still have that awkward love for violently electrocuting my anus to propel myself onto the stage.
Yeah lol we can start with that. Both his Dsmash and his Usmash should be cancelable. I'd like to cancel the first hit of his Dsmash into maybe a backwards short hop Nair->Uair maybe? Maybe also make his Usmash come out faster to give him a quick ranged attack and if it's cancelable the opponent won't have a chance to move in while it's completing the arc. I don't know I'm not a competitive player. I'd also just like him to have more yo-yo attacks in generals. It's such a unique weapon. His yo yo needs to just not suck overall. At most from what I remember and have read recently it's only good for some strange mind games.

I want the man who grumbles about today's youth.I hope New Age Retro Hippie makes it in the game somehow. Even if it's just an Assist Trophy.
But we already have Cranky Kong. (not in Smash yet, though)I want the man who grumbles about today's youth.![]()

Least lame? Tote Bags.Okay, real question time: I've mentioned I'm working on a project many times in this thread.
Well, let's say I can manage to get a table at Apex and give away some sort of random trinket with a logo on it. I'm looking at reasonably priced options. Obviously they'll be kinda lame, but what random promotional item isn't?
BUT I've narrowed down the list a tiny bit and wanna know what would be the LEAST lame. Give me opinions!
Pens (Ya know, ya write with them!)
Magnets (For sticking things to things!)
Tote Bags (like for carrying your gaming stuff!)
Hand Fans (It's flipping hot at Apex!)
Thoughts?

Moonside is good, but I'm not sure if I'd put that above Magicant or Empire Pork Building. Definitely more interesting than Saturn Valley however.
What if a person is flipping hot, wants to write, stick things to things, and carry their gaming stuff?
