Super Champ Combo results!

First of all, I would like to thank every1 that came to this tournament. It makes me feel very happy that people wanted to come to me and Neal's tournament from around the world.
I enjoy hosting this tournament very much and I also skip my classes just to get everything ready for the tournament. I know that I didn't do as much as Neal but that's because I didn't want to go push the shopping cart for him (wow). Also, having a tournament name after me is probably one of the coolest thing to ever happen. I dunno how my combo became so famous but I'm just glad that people recognize it and uses it when they need it in battle (in the game or real life). So again, thank you to everybody that came to this tournament.
Neal: I don't even know how to describe how happy I am for both of us. I remember around last year where we keep telling people that we will hold another Champ Combo but wow... I didn't know know it was going to be Super Champ Combo presented by MLG! You are one of the nicest person I know and you're also one of the worst engrish person I know too. I will be seeing u soon so and hope that we will hold more tournament again. Too good.
evilnemesis: Thank you so much for finding us the venue at your church. This tournament wouldn't happen if we didn't have a place to hold it. Good job at doing so well at the tournament too and tell Alan to practice with you on counter stages haha.
JTB: You also help me and Neal a lot by taking care of the equipment at the tournament. The layout work extremely well and there was enough room for people to walk around and enjoy the environment. Too bad your team wasn't ready though so next time I guess.
MLG staff: JV and alphazelot, thank you for sponsoring us for this tournament. You guys are awesome and I wish that we would be sponsor by you again. I hope we didn't let you guys down with our tournament and that you guys have fun. Thank you so much.
my friends: They were the one that work at the canteen for two days and I have to say that I think they did a really nice job there. Imma have to tell Neal to go with me and my friends to a dinner or something haha. They help me run the tournament simply because they are my close friends. They didn't expect to gain anything from this at all so I'm glad I have friends like these by my side.
palmdale: You guys are awesome and definitely one of my favorite smashers to hang out with. You guys even name all ur team name after me *shed in tears* You are all very nice people and always support me and Neal so thank you so much. I hope to see you all again next time and hang out more often definitely. Oh yeah, tell konohamaru to stop tripping on this scarf haha.
fabian: Thanks for trying to help me with the pizza issue but it was too late. It's ok though so dun worry about. BTW GOOD STUFF AT PLACING HIGHER THAN MIKE Y AND KNIVES hahahahaha.
arash and veg: pokemon pro right here haha. Good job at getting top 3 in pokemon. You guys r really good since it takes a lot of prediction to do well in that game. Only bad players would rely on luck to win haha jk.
deepsocal: i didn't hang out with u guys much but thanks for helping us run the pools. You guys r still awesome ever since I met u and you should stay that way. Next time, invite me over when u have some mroe guy love alright? Edrees and his jokes r too good.
azn_lep: good job at placing well at the tournament and bring the broken tv haha jk. Hopefulyl it works now so u dun have to worry about it anymore.
east coast: Thank you for coming every1. I never travel out of cali for smash before so it was awesoem to see all these smashers out of state. M2K is very funny for trying to steal people blanket haha. PC need to believe me that I don't short hop. Cactaur got that Myko hair cut and he looked awesome. Cort is very calm but seems like a nice guy. Chillin is very tall and a very cool person. Azen is so quiet but at least I saw him smile once. I hope you all enjoy our tournament and hope to see you all come back again.
Hayato and JHolla: It was a pleasure to house u guys. You guys are very cool people and u got one of my friend say kid now haha. Just hit me up anytime when u're in cali again yeah?
morcal: Norcal came almsot full force msut it have to be a record or something. 30 of u guys? That's too freaking good. I hope you all enjoy the travel here and I hope u guys got home in time for school on monday haha. Me and Neal will go to ur next big tourney for sure if u ever host one yeah?
Zoap: I would like to personally thank you for making a thread for Norcal carpool. You spend a lot of time making sure that every1 in Norcal will have a ride and they all did in the end. For that, I have to thank you for making this tournament so much better by bringing norcal over and u urself too of course =)
chudat: it was nice seeing u again after such a long period of time. You still look exactly the same and u still make me laugh at how funny u act haha. I hope to see u again sometime in the futre and hang out with u more. Yayuhhhhzzz.
socal: thank you every1 for coming to our tournament. You guys represented us well and u all did great. You also help supported us with bringing tv, cubs and otehr equipment for us. You guys rock. home of the Champ Combo.
az: I'm glad that champ combo was some of ur guys tournament and super champ combo didn't disappoint u guys. I hope u have fun at the tourney and good job to all of u for placing so well. I'm still glad to be the only player to ever get SHADOW CLAW (loosing to forward in winners then Taj in losers immediately). Good stuff Wobbles. You got ur revenge in Fox vs IC but I still reign supreme in fox ditto haha.
hugs: Thanks a lot for doing the hug from hugs for us. You got lucky that it was forkgirl haha. One of my friend told me that one of the ticket was Isai haha. Good job with Ganon too. Best ganon in socal for sure now.

ultra luigi: 80-20!!! It was nice to see u again and even play u again too. I have a lot of fun hanging out with u and that Champ training paid off haha. U did too good after the 80-20 training.
to every1 I play: Good game to u all. I know I did at least 5 champ combo on people and I'm glad I was able to pull it off at my own tournament haha. A lot of unexpected players almost beat me so I guess I'm out of touch with the game now. Time to practice more and use more champ combo right? Hahaha.
to the pools I ran: I hope you guys enjoy my accompany and I hope that I ran it fine for u guys. I know that last pool with 4 tie was gay but rules r rules. Good job to every1 in pools though.
to all the raffle ticket winner: Good job Dodger for winning two prizes haha. That's what happen when u have like 10 something ticket haha. I hope Jholla enjoy the shirt with all the signature cause that should be really awesome. Cort for get massage by Isai. Drgn for winning for winning one of the key chain and forkgirl from getting hug from hugs. Azn lep won Neal's flag so at last it's still in Socal somewhere haha. Oh yeah, Vans for winning the other key chain and Loki for getting the 3v1 treatment. I hope u all like the prizes and we'll try to have more next time.

This tournament was awesome, I'd like to especially thank Neal and JV for doing an amazing job running it, along with the rest of the SCC staff. The most enjoyable tournaments are the ones that sell small food items like candy, drinks, chips, etc. It's a little extra work that is good for everyone, the people get cheap food, the TO's get a lil profit because its bulk. The Tshirts were also a nice touch. TIO/TIA are amazing programs, keep improving them and working out the kinks neal, I recommend it to everyone I meet when the topic comes up.
I'd also like to thank Hugs and Oscar (right?), you guys were a HUGE help for me.
Scamp: Double Peach...doesn't work. After we lost that first set, and then the next close one against Lunin/Zelgadis, I sorta slacked, sorry about that. 3 stock also threw me off, but no johns it was still fun as **** teaming with someone from WC.
TheGAMEEEE: Seriously, I love getyourtournament.com and how you present the site/stories, it is much better than most of the stuff out there and your doing it almost all by yourself. More importantly when your at a tournament you actually help out, something I haven't ever seen from any other media covering events (Amped/gameriot, gotfrag, misc. news agencies at MLG events). In case no one has ever told you, its greatly appreciated by everyone.
To anyone who saw me throwing up on Saturday, like forkgirl: My bad, I spent about 6 hours outside going between throwing up and trying not to throw up. I felt better by nightfall.
To everyone I was with Saturday night: Good ****.
For everyone elses information: I'm sending the doubles/singles write up to MLG tomorrow morning, I couldn't get them done sooner because I've been spending the last 3 days catching up on missed school work because of two weekends straight of MLG tournaments (no johns, but my arch major requires a lot of studio/outside class time for work). If I had to guess, and it is always a guess, one of the two articles may go up on Friday with the other one sometime early next week. They also have a PC Chris interview and a pre event article that haven't/never went up, I'm going to guess the pre event article is scrapped but I'll see if I can get MLG to put up the PC Chris interview, despite it being a "pre SCC" interview. On the same topic, I wasn't able to take any pictures because my camera ran outa batteries, all I got were a few minute clips of PC Chris'/Tang's hands moving before my camera ran out of batteries, so the articles will be pictureless unless I can convince my editor to allow a borrow from getyourtournament.com (with thegames permission of course, and a lil caption saying "picture courtesy of getyourtournament.com, we'll see what happens). I think I'll put the clips up on facebook, my name is chris brown (ohio state network) so send a f/r if you wanna view them, I also have dozens of albums of past tournaments, including hundreds of pictures from previous MLG Smash events, both this year and last.
Finally, some interesting things:
Ken lost to Wobbles and ChuDat, in both matches he lost close ordeals using Marth, then he switched to Luigi for the next match, he almost got the job done against Wobbles but fell pretty short against ChuDat. I didn't really see the "fire" in Ken's eyes so to speak, it seemed like he was only their to play and enjoy himself, so I really don't think people should read that heavily into it. I'm not saying he would have won the matches under different circumstances, simply that he was having fun, and I don't see anything wrong with that.
ChuDat beat Azen and Ken back to back, the two players he has the WORST records against in his Smash career (I believe the third is Chillin). His loss against Cort was tragic but he almost got the job done with Pikachu. Peach versus IC is such a terrible match up for IC.
Mew2King versus Mango, the second match of their set, went to under 1 minute, that Mango won with a rest after being down over 50% was amazing. If some players want to learn spacing/how approaches work that match is a great example of understanding.
Azen/Chillin coming out once again and showing they can dominate, that was good ****.
Ken/Isai had their lowest team performance ever, and this was the first time neither of them won money at a tournament in singles or doubles.
PC Chris and Cort had another great performance in teams, anyone who said FC was a fluke (not many people) should be silenced now.
Cort is showing that Peach really can compete with the best, as a Peach player I was beginning to lose hope. Show me the way Cort!

As for you standing where no one else was because everyone avoided you like the plague.
You where like a dumpster that was never emptied you where disgusting and i was going to go get some bottles of water or something so you could perhaps clean your self in a manner.
