Since GS is that old you can't expect Sakurai for example to avoid spoilers in that regard.

Good examples for that case are for example Aerith in FF7 (people will know what I mean)
and recently in Fire Emblem Heroes -> The true identity of the Black Knight. I was fine with it since I already played all of it but it can totally suck for people who didn't get the chance to play them.

So I personally am hoping for maybe a Golden Sun Remake or an entire new game for the switch as well...

I know an Echo Felix makes sense, but so do a ton of other Echo fighters we’ve yet to see. I really don’t think Sakurai’s doing Echo fighters because he can, but more because those characters have significant popularity and that’s the only way they’ll be realized. At least that’s true for all four of the new Echo fighters.

Idk, Richter was definitely not popular among the smash community when first revealed so I don't think that's entirely true. If Richter is possible Felix is definitely possible, maybe not likely though

Random thought time! You know how each character has a different picture when they beat classic mode and the announcer says "Congratulations"? (examples here). I think it would be funny if Isaac's picture would be him facing off against Rathalos in the Coliseum stage.

That or Isaac sleep while in the Coliseum as a nice reference to that part of the original game considering Isaac would have gone through a gauntlet of battles.

I know that idea wasn't brought up a lot but I personally would love to see Isaac's party jumping in and each of them using one of the more powerful psynergy together. For one because I would love the detail since I love the party and secondly, I would love to see each of them in HD <3

As for design, it would either need to be the classic OR it gets an outfit Roy-ified to be updated, but still retain the general look/color scheme of the character.

I think Sakurai's keeping it classic. He only changed Roy cause he feels like since he debuted in Melee, he acknowledges the Smash Roy is different to the canon incarantion and wanted him recognizable to that audience and he felt his Melee look was old and in need of a modern update.

Though if Isaac's look gets a few touch ups, I hope Sakurai is actually monitoring the entire process lol. With Roy seems like he had this vision of a fantasy swordsman look and then he states something went wrong cause he ended up looking more like a Tales of character and laughs as he states probs cause the person who worked on the design does do work on the Tales series and laughs again. Makes me think he feels Roy looks goofy to me lol. Though I'm kinda not a fan of some parts of Roy's new look anyways.

I always imagined this being her Neutral B if she ever was playable - but in practice, I think the way it'd work would be like sending an arcing trail of fire that then explodes powerfully when it lands.

I though would like it also if Jenna wasn't a one-trick pony - sadly haven't played Lost Age much aside from the beginning, so dunno what other moves she could use.

You’re not being rude at all! Personally I worry that if Isaac has his special sword then his moveset might revolve around his sword too much so that’s why I kinda hope he has a basic sword. Probably sounds like something silly to worry about now that I say it out loud. Lol

Honestly, I can't be objective about the grinch leak. I really really REALLY want Isaac, so I really want the leak t be real. It's hard to be impartial

Thing to remember is Isaac still has a lot going for him to be playable and many of us were confident in him before this leak showed up. Of course it is nice having Isaac on a leak that doesn't instantly get debunked in five minutes, I'll give you that.

Richter is the most popular Belmont in Japan. He’s an iconic character to the franchise by all accounts and that’s saying a lot of such a long running franchise of Castlevania. I see Richter as the compromise for Japanese and Western appeal. Simon is the more known Western rep, Richter the Japanese one.

Felix has extremely limited popularity in comparison. It’s not like some part of the world values Felix more than Isaac, he’s much less known to people. His only reason for being an Echo is because he could be one. I just don’t see that happening.

I think Lucien Dodge would make a perfect fit for Isaac's Voice Actor with this "Elliot Voice" from the Trails of Cold steel series. It's tough to find some showcasing since I can't find raw sound files of his voice but once I do I will link them here.
But yeah he matches the "young, kind and helpful" voice which resembles Isaac's appearence pretty well imo. So I am eager to find out who will voice our golden boy since I have been happy until know with the english voice acting they are giving us.

Yuri lowenthal or Johnny yong Bosch are decent choices, both of whom are already in studio for Nintendo and smash specifically (marth and zero respectively)

And Link himself is a silent protagonist while Issac had a voice actress in Brawl.

The whole gimmick with Isaac in the first game was that he NEVER spoke. The most he did was the player responded yes or no in his stead, and beyond that all's we saw of him was a text box with 3 exclamation points. He spoke more in golden sun the lost age. But most fans of the character want him based on his appearance in the first game.

I just hope he get's a good voice that can stand as his own. I don't really want him sounding like countless other characters out there by sharing a prolific anime/game voice actor.
