Like Xeno said today is healths and sports day in Japan so it was pretty easy to predict on that alone. It's not the first time that a blog post was connected with a Japanese holiday since the Moon assist trophy post was put up on the same day as the Japanese moon holiday. If this "leaker" really had access to information regarding the blog posts he would've given more evidence to this kind of information. Not even Vergeben knows the blog posts

I wonder if the fake leaker was banking on that to make them look more credible.

Sad part is, if they didn't try to pull off the bad Zeraora Echo thing, they might've been legit. I mean, either they did research on Japan's holidays, or it was real and they weren't guessing. The second they threw the Pokemon on there, it was clear they guessed the data based upon some research, and never had any real information to begin with.

Zeraora can't even learn Aura Sphere, Extreme Speed or Force Palm so making it an echo is a big stretch, not to mention that Zeraora wasn't planned for regular Sun & Moon so it's too new to be a unique character at base.

Thought I would give my thoughts on the leak, or more specifically the Zeraora Echo. Do you know what every echo so far has in common? Some type of connection between the echo and the character they are based on. Peach and Daisy are doubles partners and both princesses. Simon and Richter both come from the same clan and are related. The only one that is questionable is Roy and Chrom (though I think they made an exception there to put Chrom in the game as he was "highly requested". Zeraora was by no means highly requested in 2015, because he didn't exist). Another thing to point out is that both Pikachu and Pichu both represent electric types in Pokemon. On top of that if this leak is true that means we have not 10 reps for Pokemon but, 11! (Incinaroar and Zeraora are in this leak).

So yeah, I don't believe this leak at all.

I honestly would laugh if the Pokemon newcomer we get is DLC.

That's the part that has always made me question every leak, "Why aren't you leaking Assist Trophies, Items, Pokemon, Stages, etc.?".

Here's hoping for an announcement this week. I've been dying a little inside for not getting any Smash News.

Leaks that we hear about all the time in text form are just merely rumors and that's it. The only legitimate leaks we've seen have been the ESRB leak from four years ago and the leak featuring Ken on the Splatoon stage. Most of the time these people are just doing it for the attention so basically they aren't worth my time at all.

Those are my last final five most requested characters and I think the time draws near to find out whose going to make the cut. Been watching those tribute videos of Ridley and K. Rool (Push it to the Limit and Crocodile Rock respectively) on how the fans have waited so long for them to get into Smash. It really inspires me and makes me feel like Isaac and Geno (and even Banjo) are the biggest ones left to get in. When they do, I hope we get a tribute video like it as well.

Speaking of Music, whatever happened to that list of "sun" songs we gathered? Isaac: Venus Adept , I believe it was you who made the list, right?

It made me think how the original 8 could form a band together:

hahaha right if the leaker had access to the blog he probably would have had a whole lot more info to share! xD heck at the very least to prove his credibilty solidly he should have shown the full week if it was real

It's not that good of a guess. Just pick someone who is left and you've got a chance being right. Know about Japanese culture and you can make a far more educated guess.

Yep I got thirty song names compiled on my computer. I figured we should be prepared before Isaac's announcement when it happens. After Isaac is confirmed we'll try get to work on the Isaac celebration video with the fitting songs and I'm also planning to put all thirty songs in a playlist. All we need is for Nintendo to confirm our boy already
