Here's some extra, rambling, boredom-fueled speculation on who we might see tomorrow; feel free to ignore
I reviewed the new character reveals for SSB4 in the interest of seeing what kind of characters got solo reveals in Nintendo Directs. This amusingly excludes most of them: six fighters came from E3 2013 and 2014, Greninja (with Charizard) came in the dedicated Smash Direct, Shulk came just before launch on a Miiverse post, and Bowser Jr., Duck Hunt and Dark Pit weren't officially revealed til post-launch. The characters who did get solo reveals? Rosalina & Luma and Little Mac, who came in Nintendo Directs, as well as Robin (with Lucina), whose trailer came in their own dedicated stream.
What does this tell us? Well, Rosalina and Robin both came from very popular games, while Little Mac had been a long time fan request from a franchise never before playable in Smash. In other words, all three announcements were very splashy, the sort that could easily stand on their own without extra Smash news. You can't really say that about some of the others: Wii Fit Trainer and Palutena were both relatively niche inclusions, propped up by Villager/Mega Man and Pac-Man/Mii Fighters, respectively, while Greninja came alongside a nearly forty-minute Smash Direct filled to the brim with news for the game.
That says to me that if you're going to get a solo reveal in a general Nintendo Direct, much like what we're expecting tomorrow, you need to be something special. I'd argue characters like Incineroar and Skull Kid would thus not make the cut for this specific reveal, even if they are in the game, due to not being from new franchises as well as being characters who only recently have become popular fan requests. On the other hand, the likes of Isaac and Geno seem very strong choices, as they have been popular Smash requests for a very long time, or even simply new, Switch-based characters like Spring Man or Rex & Pyra. Either way, this makes me feel quite confident that we're going to see something very interesting tomorrow. Nintendo and Sakurai know that this reveal will need to make an impact, and given the fan service we've seen so far, I bet they have someone special in store for us.

An update on my GS Playthrough.
I've got the ship, the Aqua Hydra is dead, and I made two trips from Madra to Kibombo because Camelot are assholes *.
(*to clarify, you get the Black Orb for Piers' ship in Kibombo, return to Osenia, Piers suggests they return to Madra to let the Mayor know he's okay; the Mayor of Madra gives you the Cyclone chip, which you can then take back to Kibombo for the Venus Djinn Mud and the Tomegathericon; note about the Tamegathericon, it's just straight-up the Necronomicon in the Japanese version)
I sure hope the next Djinn I get isn't a water one, because it looks like Jenna is taking after Isaac's Jupiter Djinn addiction with a Mercury Djinn addiction.

Slight correction- Shulk was revealed in a Japan-only Direct focusing mostly on the reveal of the N3DS that also revealed Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.

Has been debunked, you are using the old stage argument.Guys, something worries me.
I'm copying this from what I just posted in the Smash Ultimate thread.
So all of the stages have been shown?
Can't complain because there are 103. I'm looking at the Wiki.
There are 103 total.
7 Smash Bros
19 Melee
26 Brawl
44 Smash 4
That equals 96.
That leaves room for 7 to make 103.
According to the Wiki the new stages are Dracula's Castle, Great Plateau Tower, Moray Towers, and New Donk City Hall as well as Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination.
So apparently Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination all count as Ultimate stages. So as much as I want Isaac and other new IPs (Especially lesser known Nintendo IPs), does this mean the remaining newcomers will be from series already with characters?
Or does it mean Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination don't count? Or does it mean it would go back to pre-Brawl where not every series gets a stage?
Additionally look at what's left, there's 6 empty spaces. DLC?
It seems hard to believe Isaac or even Geno won't get a stage.

Hmm, quite a couple of you guys have been popping into the Shantae thread, so I thought I would come to tell you guys that I absolutely adore the Golden Sun games, and would love to see Isaac become playable!
They didn't, Isaac just gone with Matthew to do proper training, and stay sharp about the state of the Vale

Oh god, I hope they don't put a remaster on 3DS. I know the 3DS and the Switch can coexist but no one else does and I would like Golden Sun to not be dead as soon as it's revived because they chose the wrong platform.

Dark Dawn would have been much better received if it came out close to 3ds launch (On the 3ds) instead of 5 months before on an obviously dying system. The only way I could see that working is if they're also doing a new sequel on Switch.

Ugh, putting it on the 3DS now would be a repeat of the exact. same. problem that Dark Dawn had with being on a handheld that was at the end of it's life.
They may say "oh the 3ds isn't dead" but until I see major names lined up going forward, sure thing buddy

I'd support a Golden Sun game regardless of what platform it was for, but I definitely agree that it would be less than ideal to be on the 3DS.
If we get both Isaac for Smash AND Golden Sun for Switch ... it might cause me a heart attack, lol.

I think if they announce a GS for Switch it will be a remake that combines GS1 and GS2 into one coherent game.
