I'd certainly like 3D Remake in the style of Dark Dawn, but with better textures. Like, I know it was the DS but the world map for DD was one of the ugliest things to look at. A full on update with more detailed models with Isaac getting the model we all know he'll have in Smash obviously
I'd want tilts to use sword, smashes and specials to use Alchemy.
What Mario Tennis aces has showed us is how beautiful Camelot can make a world map on Switch. Agreed. I've been streaming Aces over the past two nights and I was struck by how the world map felt so interesting to look at. Not to mention the world map music in Aces is extremely catchy and made me nostalgic for the Golden Sun map themes and the Mario Golf: Advance Tour music as well. Camelot knows how to do world maps.
I have a feeling if Camelot was going to make a Golden Sun on Switch they'd borrow assets from Mario Tennis Aces
I've never understood why Isaac at the bare minimum never became playable in a Mario Tennis/Golf game. They go to the trouble of creating all those humans but not advertise their mascot? Maybe they would be seeing that interest in a GS4 they wanted oh so badly.
A liiiiiiiittle bit of sword, mostly Venus Psynergy with a little bit of Djinn to go with it.
A mixture of sword and Psyenergy. I also seem to be the only one that wants him to not use Djinn in his moveset outside of a taunt.
If they could make Djinn work, I would absolutely be all for it because Isaac would have one of the most unique mechanics. It might overcomplicate him though, so if Djinn were an item instead, I wouldn't complain.

I have fond memories of attempting to get Ivan to use his summons as quickly as humanly possible before he goes down for maximum damage. Classic Ivan. Least he can read minds
I don't think the sword is that important to Isaac, considering he can also wield an axe. So I'd rather they kept any sword attacks for his standard smash attacks and focused on psynergy for his specials.
Even if they treat the sword like Captain Falcon's gun and make him just focus on psynergy and djinn I'll still dig it
What if he uses the sword as a taunt and puts it away immediately afterwards ala Ganondorf? It could be hilariously ironic to see that the character already has a unique moveset and doesn't need a sword.

It probably is. But the speculation has just worn me down. Too many fake leaks. Too many people down on his chances, too much waiting.
It definitely is. Your first mistake was getting bogged down in speculation and the opinions of other people. Nobody on Smashboards has any control over what will happen, no matter how confident they may seem.
Smash 4 speculation period was way worse. Two years of hit and miss PotDs, wondering when trailers will come out, and watching so many predictions be horribly off-base.
Smashboards is an echo chamber and doesn't reflect the truth of what's going on. I've read quite a few of the "leaks" myself and yeah, Isaac doesn't show up on too many of them, but that's no reason to be down about it. Yeah, it may seem like there's not many of us Isaac supporters and that his franchise is dead in the water, but that's not the case.
And to be honest, I'm skeptical of this leak. Nothing that he called out was exactly a huge shock (Snake could be argued) aside from Simon Belmont and the Minecraft stage, and neither of those have been confirmed yet. Vergeben has had inconsistent results with his sources in the past, and there was actually a 4chan leaker who leaked all the revealed info verbatim (linking this video since 4chan thread is dead now). Unlike this leak, Vergeben didn't get Daisy nor did he get the other cut characters returning. That would've solidified its credibility.
In the end, I prefered the original classes. But there where some cool ones in the bunch. In the early game, switching Venus and Mars Djinn for Isaac and Garet is quite beneficial. Garet becomes stronger and faster, and the Psynergy is just very strong early on. Soon as Isaac learns Ragnarok, I want him to have the Venus Djinn yet again. Barbarian classes are cool for Garet, but not so much for Isaac. Specific fights for specific set ups also work. I liked the Jupiter / Venus Djinn classes for Isaac as well for example, Thunder Mine looked great.
I think some sort of mix between the cel shaded style of Breath of the Wild and Octopath would fit well. The scenery, Psynergy and Summons need to be breath taking.
I'm a big fan of not providing context or clues to the newcomer in the trailer until the moment they show up and get their newcomer tagline. My vision was always him using his Psynergy hand out of nowhere to save somebody (perhaps they're in a fight and about to be finished off by a villain?).
Maybe Shulk and Ness are fighting Master Hand. Shulk gets hit to the edge of arena. He then has a future vision of Ness getting KO'd by Master Hand rocket punch. He calls out to Ness to get out of the way but Ness doesn't hear him. As the rocket punch goes off, suddenly a bright glowing hand appears and blocks it. Close up on Shulk and Ness each acting surprised. A rock pillar shoots up from under Master Hand sending him flying upwards, then we see Isaac falling towards him sword in hand and get a splash screen.
I'm glad that it's not just me who thinks that Shulk would fit great in a trailer for Isaac. They've got a few parallels as characters.
Imagine it's a random character using an assist trophy and Isaac pops out but instead of helping that said character he turns around and attacks them thus the gameplay starts (i'm joking but it'd be the most epic troll move in Smash history)
If any Assist Trophies get promoted in DLC, this is what I want.

Before E3, somebody literally suggested a fakeout like that and how it would hint at Rool and it's all I could think of when I saw it for real.
